Great Product for a good price

"It was confusing when were out to buy a new system for our store. We looked at many systems with similar features, eventually landed up buying Lorex which turned out to be the best of what were looking for. It was easy to install and their customer service was great. It would be the product for our next store."

Great system

"I spent a fair amount of time researching systems before purchasing this one. My research payed off as this is a value packed system. Configuring internet access required several tech support calls, the manual was weak in this area. Picking the correct android ap that supports this system also required tech support. I am really glad to have gotten the better cameras, and the expansion capability of the system is a nice feature as I am looking for additional cameras."

Great System!

"Got this system to replace an old professional grade black and whit one with VCR recorder. Picture quality is great, installation was easy, can view on-line, and the recording time is much longer than possible with tapes. Very satisfied with this system."

"We got the Lorex security from Costco and we are completely satisfied with the purchase. When we got it, everybody whom we called to install it were saying that this is not a good brand. Excellent Product!

"Owner of a Tire Retail Store, we first invested in a camera monitoring system years ago with a professional company. I remember spending an arm and leg for it and very hard to use. I never used any of the features like record to a cd, monitor remotely, and much more. NOW with this product, I was able to set it up with on my own. I do recommend you get someone who understands your router or network at the business to assist when setting this device up. You will need to know some network configurations and its meaning. So if you don't know this, I would undestand how it maybe a little difficult. I left off stating how easy it was to set up. In addition, I've added 6 more cameras to the bunch, I'm able to record to jump drives, and most recently view my cameras remotely! The coolest thing is that I'm able to view my cameras remotely from my iPhone. This really added the cherry on top. Again a lot of this took trial and error but at the end and all the work / patiance - I'm a very happy customer! Good luck in your install!"

Cons: dvr made a noise but customer service replaced it

"I installed this system , it's working well. I could view every channels on my computer as well as on my whole family 3 I phones,1 HTC phone without calling Tech support at all. The cameras are easy to install, you could adjust any angle you like to. The only drawback is that the fan is noisy, but I put this system in my closet so no big deal to me"

Great for the price

"I only have one complaint, even though these cameras are listed as 600 lines of resolution, the image is not as clear as one would expect. Other than that, you may wait a little to get tech support on the phone, but once you get them, they are great!!! Their support team is absolutely wonderful, and they will bend over backwards to make sure that you are happy.

For the cost, you cannot beat the Lorex ECO security system. I can monitor them from anywhere on my iphone, and it gives me great peace of mind knowing that if anything happens, it will be recorded on the 1TB hard drive that comes standard on this model."

Great product for the money

"This item helped catch a prowler. The police noticed I had cameras around my home and asked if they could review them. GUESS WHAT! There was a burgler who stole from a home close to mine and the cameras picked it up and I had it recorded etc. GREAT ~!"

I wrote a review a few weeks ago about my LH116LED66 and a noisy Fan / I promised to report back on the issue and Tech support. Tech/Customer service did send out a new DVR and it also had (what I call) a noisy fan?? For me its noisy, however, I will keep the system and install the DVR in my closet - Tech and customer service has been great. Just be aware of possible fan noise and that the Red light on the front of the DVR blinks all the time. I plan to put tape over that so it does not advertise location - want to keep the bad guy from finding this DVR. I am still in the process of setting up my Internet connection and can not report on that. One other issue to keep in mind - If you think these pictures are going to be as clear as your HD flat screen TV's - you might be a little disapointed? Iam looking at my 9 installed camera's right now on my Lorex flat screen and the images are OK but not so clear that I could read a Lic plate but I also did not spend 10K for this set up - It will work for me and I do like the Customer service and I got an offer to extend my warranty one year by placing a review is nice - would have placed the review anyway - just nice to know I now have two years of warranty IF I have a problem.
Iam 62 and ran all my own cables in my attic space, LOL > not an easy task but I got it done.

This is my third review for this system. I had issues at first with noise from the DVR - after working with tech support and customer service - another DVR was sent to me and it was also still noisy to me - In that time, I had a chance to work with it and decided to place it in closet behind my office and ran cables to my Monitor in my office. With that it was fine. Both Customer Service and Tech support have been great and that made all the difference - They bent over backwards to help me. I ran all my own cables through the attic space and at age 62, LOL - it was not easy but I got it done. I was able to set up most of the system but still needed CS to activate my ON line service and Iphone - again, they were great.
Bottom line - for the price of this system on sale - I am happy and it works fine. Night vision is better than expected - Keep in mind - this is NOT CSI 10K camera's but they work fine.

A new firmware and Client Software for PC upgrade is available for LH110 Series. If you are using the Client Software for PC (Lorex Client 10), you must update both the client software and firmware to connect to your DVR.
