The quality of the video on the camera is ok. Our main problem was the video was in black and white about 80% of the time. No matter how much light we had in the room, it loved its black and white feed. Even in color, the quality of the feed was at best ok. When we took pictures of the feed, i might as well used an old Motorola flip phone for the same quality.

Pro: Overall good baby monitor for the price. Clear picture day or night with good sound. Cons: rechargeable battery for the monitor does not hold a charge for more than 30 min., stars night light on the camera can only be turned on and off at the camera and not remotely by the monitor and the room temperature monitor is not accurate. I suspect the night light on the camera heats up the sensor giving a false reading. The battery that came with the camera may be defective and I plan on calling Lorex for a new battery under warranty.
