Good camera for the price!
I already had a few of the wired cameras, but I wanted to try one of the wireless cameras. It's easy to set up. Just screw the base in wherever you want, and plug in the electrical adapter. It is a little slower than the wired cameras, but still pretty clear. It's an option that may or may not work for you, but I think it's definitely worth it.

Better than expected
Great picture and range. Occasional signal drop over a long a distance through a concrete wall, but overall very good signal.

LW2110
My husband installed this security camera on our front porch and the receiver on our Samsung TV. The installation was reasonably simple once the RCA adapter was found inside the box. The biggest concern with installation was finding a power source for the camera on the outside of my house. For many people the need for a power source near the camera will be a deciding factor as to whether or not to buy a wireless or wired system. (Wireless systems require a power source near the camera to run the wireless transmitter.) The receiver is located in the center of my house with the signal traveling through several walls and a brick facade. Despite this, the picture is still clear on my TV. The video only refreshes a few times per second giving a choppy display as you would expect from a security camera and not a webcam. There is no audio included with this system; however, if you're looking for a wireless digital security camera with good range and picture quality and connects to most devices, this camera may be a good choice for you.

A very good security cam
While the Lorex LW2110 Wireless Digital Security Camera is probably not something that you're going to see used in a high class department store, it's still a really good camera that can be used at home or in a small business.
The materials that come in the box include the following: the camera, a mounting stand, some screws, the receiver, a BNC/RCA adapter, 2 power adapters (plug ins), a BNC male/female extension cable, and a power splitter (only to be used with a 2 pack, which this is not). Once I had everything out of the box and spread out, it was relatively easy to figure out what went where.
The camera being attached to the mounting stand is probably the most difficult part, considering that you have to partially take the stand apart to be able to twist the camera on. You are then able to screw the mounting stand to wall and adjust the angle of how the camera points. After you finish that, you can attach the camera's wire to the wall plug in and plug it into the wall. This completes the camera portion of the installation.
Next is the receiver. To start, you must attach the BNC/RNA adapter to the receiver; however, since just attaching the adapter probably won't give you the length you will need to be able to plug into the wall AND television, you will probably want to first use the BNC extension cable. This requires you to simply pop one end onto the receiver and connect the other end to the BNC/RNA adapter. Then you plug the adapter into the video output location on your TV (it should be a yellow circle). You can then attach the receiver to the plug in and get electricity going to the receiver which should obviously be connected to the TV.
It may all sound very complicated with all of the technical names, but it's actually really quite simple. I'm usually not that handy with these types of installations, but this one was a breeze!
Once you complete both installations, everything should be working. Your TV should be showing the image of what the camera is pointing at. Do remember that you'll want your TV on the same component that you would watch your VCR/DVD player on, though. If it still isn't working, the manual has a good troubleshooting section that you can refer to.
The picture is definitely not HD once on the TV, but it's still quite clear for a security camera. Movement is somewhat choppier than a video camera, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well the security camera picked up movements.
When it is placed in a dark environment or a light goes off where it had been a lit environment, the camera automatically clicks into night vision, which is a black and white type of view. Everything is still very visible and movement was still picked up rather well.
The receiver should work about 400-450 feet in an open location and about 100-150 feet in a location with blockage such as walls. When I tried to bring the camera about 130-140 feet outside my home, the receiver wouldn't pick up a signal, probably because it was going through about 3 walls to try to get the camera's image; so obviously, the more walls it goes through, the fewer feet away you'll be able to place the camera from the receiver. If this is hugely disappointment, then know that there is a way to strengthen the receiver by buying a type of kit, which is explained in the manual.
As far as I can tell, the camera is not able to record what it is broadcasting, so if you're looking for something that does, this security camera isn't for you.
This camera is definitely a really good security camera as long as you're going to monitor it on your TV. I do wish the signal strength was a little bit better and that it ran on a battery instead of having to plug into a wall, but overall, I'm quite satisfied with it.

Excellent low cost option
This wireless digital security camera hooks up very easily to your VHS, DVD player or television. The picture quality is excellent and it goes from full color during the day to black and white at night. If you hook it up to your DVR it will record it. It would have been nice if it came with software to hook up to a computer. Other than that it is a very nice, affordable one-camera wireless system. You can purchase a separate DVR if you'd like so it can run completely separate from the rest of your entertainment system. Hubby said, "I'm actually surprised at how good the quality of it is." 4 out of 5 stars only because it is not able to be hooked up to a computer.

Entry level camera
The camera is a good entry level system with a simple installation and good range and low light capability. One of the difficulties is getting power to the unit, but with some basic home repair skills you can run the cabling fine. I used the unit over a short range - about 17 feed. The signal was good and the quality was fine.
The 640 mode is good if you want to see more detail but the lower frame rate is a little annoying to me. It's a tradeoff with the lower resolution and high frame rate mode.
Low light quality is pretty good with the built-in IR illumination.
I think it is excellent value given the quality delivered for the price charged and ease of setup.

Entry Level, User Friendly, Great for watching pets
We installed this system inside our home to watch golden retriever dogs that we foster for a rescue association. We need to know how the dogs are reacting to their new environment, if are they barking, or are they displaying destructive behavior.
The wireless digital security camera was trouble free to install in our utility room because we had the electrical outlet to plug into. Then we easily connected the receiver to our TV in the main living area. There was no problem with the reception.
In conclusion this system had an easy setup, provided a much needed surveillance and it did not interfere with any of our other household devices such as our phones.
Recommend this system for reasons stated above and for this situation.

Lorex Camera
I purchased this camera as an add-on to a Lorex system to get a camera view of a property being subjected to break-ins. I successfully caught images of the suspects. I was disappointed in the range of the camera but was pleased with the overall operation of the camera. The receiver for the camera had to be suspended from the ceiling of the garage to receive the tranmissions through a window as the signal from the camera would not pass through the brick wall of the garage.
