I have the LW2100 looking at my 4 year old grandson's room and have it hooked up to Video 1 input of my Main Flat Panel TV. I use this camera to check on him when he goes to sleep. The Night Vision is amazing and the Camera has a very clear picture. I installed it last November and it is working perfect, Love this Camera

GOOD BUT NOT GREAT                                                 

It is a good unit for the house. It is not so good if you need to see in detail. Like a face or a license plate. Not so hot in darkness. I give it a middle grade.

OK, but not great, 

The cameras work OK, but i only recommend these cameras if you have clear lines of sight to where you will place your receiver, probably something hard to do if you're installing more than one. mine that are only about 20' away lose connection all the time, seemingly every time the wind blows.

Also remember that you still need a cable for power, and there's a cable that will hang from it to 'pair' it to the receiver. The receiver has a wire for signal, and power as well, making for a lot of spaghetti for a wireless system.

My suggestion is to avoid wireless for now, and just run the signal wire through your attic to the receivers, then patch up the walls. I think you'll be happier in the long run.

GOOD ENTRY LEVEL CAMERA, 

Better than expected. Image is pretty clear in daylight. Image OK (not great) with IR turned on. Extremely simple to install. No drilling or attic work required. I use this camera to augment my wired cameras. Note that a power source outlet is needed either indoors or outdoors to operate the camera. The receiving antenna also needs a power source. The antenna output either plugs directly into the video in on your television or goes into an open channel on a DVR. The camera is a good buy considering the convenience and fairly decent image quality. Image resolution is user selectable at 640/480 or 320/240 my simply pressing a button on the receiving antenna. The actual camera is smaller than it appears. It can be mounted near a power outlet or simply stood up on a flat surface.

Not bad, not great, 



The two biggest limitations to this product are range and 15 fps video quality.

Range ... line of sight is really key. I first had the units 30ft apart but there was 2 walls between them. Unusable, would not lock onto a signal. Moved the units the same 30 ft. but more line of sight... got it working.

Video quality, this is probably more due to my lack of understanding of wireless technology limitations. The unit seems to operate at 15 FPS (frames per second). The result of the video very jerky. For some applications, this would be fine. For mine it wasn't. I have since gone to a wired camera, receiver system. Lesser concern was the quality (or lack of) of the receiver to video connection. Very flimsy and could be easily broken.

I have had not had good luck with the LW2100. I lost two cameras in just four months. The first one filled up with smoke and stopped sending a transmission. The second cameras video is now grey and much distorted.

Does not operate correctly!

I set this camera up, but after a couple of weeks it started to act up. The cam (50' in line of sight) started to lose its signal to the receiver. This setup was all indoors w/ no obstructions (under ideal conditions). The camera's clarity and color was very good. It is truly a no-interference wireless cam. Too bad it does not work properly. I just returned this for a full refund. I will buy a wired camera.

I do not recommend this camera.

Not really worth it, 

Still can’t get a good signal. Wasn’t expecting my one wall to kill the signal so bad that I can’t pick it up with 20 feet from the camera in my garage to the receiver. It would have been better off getting one somewhere else with a stronger signal. 15 wired cameras with 200 foot IR and number 16 with a daylight scene because that is when it lost connection.
