Excellent camera and price,

I purchased this camera for my barn. I have a mare due to foal this month and I wanted something I could connect to a TV or computer so I wouldn't need to walk out to the barn every hour to check on her. This camera is mounted approximately 65 feet from the house. It has to "see through" the wooden walls of the barn as well as the concrete blocks of the house for the wireless connection. It does this with ease and the picture is great. We first set it up to the TV monitor and it is very simple to set up. I now have it connected to a computer and the picture is streaming live so others can watch and alert me if the mare looks like she will foal while I am away from home. I could not be happier with this camera. There are other camera products out there that sell as "barn cams" for over 3 times the amount I paid for this one. I specifically wanted a wireless camera because of the amount of space between my house and barn. It would have been a nightmare to run wires all across the yard with a wired camera. The night vision is also great. I do not keep the lights on in my barn. I can easily see the horse in total darkness. This is a great camera.

COOL

I bought on a whim looking for night critters in my yard. Ran camera on 3cell Lithium Poly battery-12.2V, walked around the yard and RF signal seemed weak. IR range is great. I’m planning to set up a DVD recording trigger (using X10 sensor). I may need to keep the receiver closer than I planned.

A Great Camera

This camera is very clear and is very easy to set up. You do not have to go through any complicated procedure to set up a channel between the camera and the receiver, it does it automatically without interfering with the other cameras. It is a very good choice.

Great camera

What's great about it: Quality, easy set up

I was really impressed with the clarity of this camera. It lost is signal once and needed to be reset. However, the quality seems great.

Great wireless system

I use this wireless system for home, love the fact you can simply look at the Cameras thru the web! I have a four camera system now and plan on buying four more wireless cameras to a total of 8-Cameras. Great night vision too.

I give this system an AAA++++.

Good camera

I have been using these cameras for almost a year monitoring a remote location. They work fine unless you mount them too far away from the DVR. Then they disconnect and often won't reconnect. In my case, the range seems to be about 50 feet or less if there are a lot of walls between the camera and the DVR. Of course, you also need to be able to run a 12V power supply to the cameras.

For distant placements, I'm switching to wired Lorex cameras.

Decent entry level camera,

The installation of this camera could not have been easier. I let my 15 year old son do it and he handled it in about 20 minutes. We hooked it up to a TV and the picture was pretty decent. We then moved it to a PC, we had to buy an adapter card for $12, and it worked fine there too. The infrared video is a little different, but it does give you a picture in almost total darkness. The wireless aspect of the system is very nice. not having to run cables means we can move the cameras at will. I have not had any interference problems with the camera or my other wireless equipment.
