Easy installation

Lorex Wire-Free cameras connect wirelessly to the recorder with a simple "pairing" function. Simply click which channel you want the camera to pair to from the recorder menu settings and then press the pair button on the camera within 30 seconds. A successful pairing message should appear on the screen and the setup will be complete.

Person Detection

The new Person Detection feature will reduce the amount of motion notifications delivered through the Lorex Cirrus app. This allows you to keep tabs on your property while only being notified for motion involving people.

Connect this wire-free recorder to our Lorex Cirrus app to view your wire-free cameras from virtually anywhere in the world. This app is full of convenient features that make monitoring your home easier than ever before. Receive push notifications straight to your phone or tablet's home screen if one of your cameras detects motion, easily review past motion events using the easy-to-read history timeline, and much more.

Lorex web client available

Lorex Client 13 gives you access to your security system and its settings over the Internet using a PC or Mac computer. With this software, you will be able to view live and recorded video, as well as save manual recordings and snapshots to your computer's hard drive. The software is available under the downloads section below.

Save money on bandwidth and zero monthly fees

There are no hidden fees or monthly subscriptions with this wire-free security system. You won't need to upgrade your internet plan either. This is because the internet is not required to send video data to the cloud for storage. The only time you will need to use your internet bandwidth is if you need to access your security system remotely (i.e. live viewing or playback).

This recorder has been designed to store video data locally. This means that your security recordings are safe and secure within your residence. The total amount of motion based recordings stored will depend on the size of your mircoSD card or hard drive^*. Thankfully Lorex wire-free cameras only record for short periods and do not consume a lot of storage space.
