10 days later and still hasn't left the warehouse. Pathetic !
Our apologies for the wait. This item was temporarily on back order. We hope all is well now that you have received it.
I have 3 Lorex units. 2 of 3 came w 2 power adapters w 4 way spliters, the other came with 8 diff power plug ins.
2 of the 8 power plug ins have failed. I troubleshoot and discovered this when I had 2 cameras go out.
I called lorex 3 weeks ago about this and they still have not send me a replacement.
Meanwhile, I called again and they said it would ship within 14 business days. I have 2 camera down. I am no priority I am guessing.
Now I have another call in another week and a half later with no replacement part yet, 2 cameras still down.
I am not happy....

Replaced a cheap mic I bought online with the ACCMIC1 and am very pleased. I placed it inside my garage at the top edge of the wall where the screen is for air circulation. Cut a slot in a thin piece of foam (wind screen) and "presto-perfect" Very good audio (we could listen quite easily to persons in the driveway or front sidewalk)
Much better than the previous item I was using. Open the APP on the phone and listen.

Don't bother with this mic. Manual says audio will work with HDMI through your TV. Does not. I called customer service and they said, NO, it doesn't work with HDMI, you need a powered external speaker. Bought one and it doesn't work live!
Filed a claim and got my money back on the mic. Lorex has a long way to go to work out the kinks on their products.
Thank you for your feedback. Our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. The mic will in fact work with this system, however, a few things to note:
- The HDMI monitor must have built in speakers. If it does not, external speaker must be plugged in to the Audio Out (RCA) port of the recorder.
- For those using a monitor with built in speakers - only channel 1 can be set to record audio from a self-powered microphone. Always connect the camera that will be near the microphone to channel 1.
- Connect the microphone to the Audio IN (RCA) port on the system.
- Ensure that audio recording is enabled in Channel 1. This can be configured using the DVR?s menu.
Important note: Channel 1 must be in full screen to listen to audio from the mic in Live View mode.

The product is very good but would seem metal housing would be much better and it would have been nice to have a regular manual for them and not just the foldouts which I have asked for but no response on my request.
This is my third lorex system ... I love it especially with the new mobile app... 16 cameras for a great price ... Crystal clear picture....
Microphone works great. I bought my Lorex system at Costco and later discovered that the system does not support audio even though the DVR has 2 Audio inputs. I had already ordered this microphone so was quite disappointed. but low and behold, it does actually support audio. However, it does not record audio - only live. I now have 2 microphones attached and both work.
My only complaint is that Lorex does not offer an extension cord for the product. 60' wasn't long enough. I ended up purchasing a third microphone just for the cord. Yes, I know that gives me a spare microphone but they should sell the cord by itself as an accessory.
Easy to install but it picks up all kinds of statics from nearby neon lights and A/C "uhms". It's very hard to understand any recorded conversation.
Overall it doesn't work for us.
Of course being that my camera system has a very outdated manual it's hard to troubleshoot and follow instruction. I just have to guess when setting things up.
Bought 2 of the external microphones for use with my Lorex LH1161001 security system. Had problems initially with the extreme sensitivity of the microphones, so purchased a 2 channel attenuator on Amazon (Axxess AALC Remote RCA Level Controller). Was able to adjust the sensitivity to avoid feedback and excessive sensitivity. Would be nice if Lorex offered a microphone with a built-in sensitivity adjustment. Otherwise the microphones work fine with good audio quality and excellent pickup range.

Just upgraded our old Lorex surveillance system with a new Lorex system and very impressed with the smooth transition and upgrade. Up and running within 30 minutes. We decided to incorporate microphones with our new system and are pleased with the quality thus far!
Sound checks are good so far.
