3 Lorex Secure Setup: Initial Recorder Setup Complete
The first time you power up your system, you will be asked to create a new, secure password. Follow the instructions below
for remote access to your security system after you have reset the default system password through your recorder.
- Download and install the free Lorex Secure app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Tap the Lorex Secure icon (

) to open the app.
- Tap SIGN UP. Tap Agree after reading and understanding Lorex by FLIR’s privacy policy.

Enter your first and last name, email address, and password to create a new account. Tap SIGN UP when finished.
(Or)If you already have an account, enter your email address and password and tap LOG IN.

Tap ADD DEVICE, then tap Security System.
(Or)If you already have devices associated with your account, tap

- Scan the QR code on top of your recorder using your camera.
- Enter the system user name (default: admin) and enter your secure password. Tap Done when finished.
- The app displays all the cameras that are connected to your recorder on the home screen. Tap any camera to stream live video from it.
