4  Lorex Secure‎ Setup: First-Time Setup through App

Follow the instructions below If you are accessing your system for the first time using the Lorex Secure app.
  1. Download and install the free Lorex Secure app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Tap the Lorex Secure icon (icon ) to open the app.
  3. Tap SIGN UP. Tap Agree after reading and understanding Lorex by FLIR’s privacy policy.
  4. Enter your first and last name, email address, and password to create a new account. Tap SIGN UP when finished.
    (Or)
    If you already have an account, enter your email address and password and tap LOG IN.
  5. Tap ADD DEVICE, then tap Security System.
    (Or)
    If you already have devices associated with your account, tap icon , then tap Security System.
  6. Scan the QR code on top of your recorder using your camera.
  7. Enter the system user name (default: admin) and the default system password. See your recorder’s instruction manual for your system’s default password.
  8. Tap Done.
  9. Perform one of the following:
      For LHA / LNK Series NVRs:
      The app displays all the cameras that are connected to your recorder on the home screen.
    1. Tap a camera channel and then tap Change Password. You will be prompted to change the default system password.
    2. Enter a secure password for your system and tap DONE. This secure password will be used to access your system from now on.
      For all other compatible systems:
    1. On the Update Device Name screen, enter a new name for your system and tap NEXT. You will be prompted to change the default system password.
    2. Enter a secure password for your system and tap DONE. This secure password will be used to access your system from now on.
