Lorex is proud to provide customers with home security systems that feature a simplified installation process. The MPX842Z security system is no exception. It uses a single RG59 siamese BNC cable to connect your cameras to power and the DVR. This BNC cables carries both video and power transmission for a simple plug-an-play installation. The PTZ controls are also accomplished through this single cable. The reach of analog HD cameras like the LBV2711B HD security can be extended up to 800 feet away from the DVR. This makes them an ideal option for monitoring larger properties (see documentation for complete details).

This hard drive is engineered precisely for the high workloads and constant operation demands of security monitoring. Delivering high quality efficiency and reliability, it can safely store weeks (or even months) of recorded footage. Adjust the DVR settings to record at a lower resolution (or program scheduled and motion-triggered recordings) to maximize hard drive space.

1. Compatible with Lorex LHV1000 Series only.
2. This camera features an ultra-low light sensitive image sensor and therefore does not feature Infra-Red LEDs. The camera requires ambient lighting (for example, street/ building lighting, star or moon light) to render a night time image. In total darkness (zero Lux), the camera will not produce a night time image and therefore the camera should not be installed in completely dark areas.
