The MPX422D comes with a total of four HD security cameras, all with excellent security coverage in the dark. The two LBV2711B HD security cameras can see in the dark up to 150ft / 55m away, while the high definition LEV2712B HD security cameras provide detailed night vision images up to 130ft / 40m away. These cameras also feature SmartIR technology that aids close up recognition of objects and ClearNight imaging that provide superior low light operation (and recording efficiency).

The MPX422D uses a security certified hard drive within the included DV700 HD DVR. Not your conventional HDD, this hard drive is manufactured with the ability to safely record and playback footage simultaneously. With 1 terabyte of storage, you can record weeks (or even months) of footage. Configure your DVR to record in a lower resolution or program scheduled and motion-triggered recordings to maximize your hard drive storage space.
