I ordered the HD IP Security Cameras with 8-Channel NVR and 8 Cameras, ON-LINE FROM LOREX. I had ordered extra cable, TWO ROLLS of 100 foot cable, which was NOT included in my order. I had to telephone Lorex regarding this matter and I was ON HOLD FOR A LONG TIME! Then, I discovered that I was missing an HDMI cable and the Warning Signs. I also discovered that the CD that was included in my package is NOT COMPATIBLE TO MY iMac. Tonight, I've been ON THE PHONE FOR OVER THREE HOURS, ON-HOLD!! Spoke to one gentleman and he transferred me to another line and I'm STILL WAITING! I CANNOT FIND what I am looking for on the FLIR WEBSITE. My cameras seem to be working, but I don't know how to SET UP the equipment so that I can RECORD, REWIND AND REVIEW!!
Also, the WEATHER PROTECTORS that were enclosed with my security system COULD NOT BE CONNECTED to the HDMI cable. When I reached Tech Support, I was told that my system should be installed professionally, since the wires would have to be cut and spliced to be able to use the Weather Protector!! The whole purpose of buying this system was SELF INSTALLATION!!
I AM VERY, VERY FRUSTRATED, AS IT IS APPROACHING MIDNIGHT AND I'M STILL ON HOLD!!!
