Security monitoring in high definition quality leaves nothing to question. It can be the difference in identifying vital details such as license plate numbers or faces. Footage recorded at 30 frames-per-second delivers exceptionally smooth on-screen movement. 3D digital noise reduction (DNR) technology filters noise from your image (day and night) for a cleaner, more accurate image.
Lorex is pleased to provide customers with security systems that feature a simplified installation process. The HDIP82MVD security system is no exception. It utilizes Power-over-ethernet (PoE) technology that runs a single cable between your NVR and each IP camera. An all-in-one solution, this cable provides both power and video transmission up to 300 feet / 91m (click here to purchase extension cables). This NVR can also incorporate a PoE switch. This switch allows you to minimize the amount of cabling required.
Strong exteriors ensure remarkable protection against vandalism. The LND3374B IP security cameras come with an IK10 (vandal-proof) rating and are nearly impossible to destroy. They are built to withstand heavy impacts and are capable of looking after themselves while they look after you.
The LND3374B security cameras contain motorized varifocal functionality. This feature allows you to remotely adjust their field of view (FOV). Focus in on narrow pathways (down to 33°) or expand the camera’s view up to 93° for large areas like a backyard. Remotely make these adjustments from your Lorex NVR, or from a connected mobile device.
Securely view your security cameras from virtually anywhere in the world with our innovative FLIR Cloud™ app. With iOS®, Android™ and PC options your security system will always be at your fingertips. Features such as push notifications and instant email alerts for motion-triggered events will keep you connected to your property at all times.
Trust in Lorex’s superior night vision technology to protect you and your family around the clock. The LND3374B dome security camera can help you do just that with its night vision range of up to 140ft / 43m in ambient lighting (and up to 90ft/27m in total darkness). Know that your security cameras will be there for you when you need them most, even when night falls. An automatic infrared cut filter ensures that colors are represented naturally during the day, and that black and white infrared images at night are as detailed as possible.
A widescreen 19-inch LED monitor completes this web exclusive security system. Use this monitor to build a convenient security station to access your security system locally. Connect your NVR to this Energy Star certified monitor with the included HDMI cable.
With an IP66 weatherproof rating, the LND3374B security cameras can withstand the most unforgiving climates. Suitable for indoor and outdoor installation, these cameras can persevere through all kinds of weather conditions for year-round security monitoring that never stops working.
The HDIP82MVD security system contains a 1TB security certified hard drive engineered precisely to manage the constant workload demands of surveillance monitoring. Trust this professional grade HDD to safely store weeks (or even months) of security footage. Configure the NVR to record at a lower resolution or schedule recording times to save hard drive space. The motion-triggered recording function saves additional storage space by recording only when movement is detected.
Security NVRs will connect to IP cameras using CAT5 network cables and will store pre-compressed video footage from IP cameras.
Record and capture all the details, don't miss out anything. Full HD resolution with accurate color reproduction brings your recorded video to life.
The hard drives are designed to work in a security environment, including simultaneous recording & playback from various streams.
FLIR Cloud will help simplify and organize your life by keeping track of all your security cameras from anywhere in the world on any iPhone®, iPad® or Android® devices.

It's a good product and the quality image was really good and the the poe its totally fantastic only the remote acces whit flir cloud not really work easy have need change couple of setup to my router for the rest it a good product and the shipping was fast.
Great system - very glad I purchased! Packaged well, shipped quickly - very good purchase!
I bought the HDIP82MVDW 1080 HD IP camera system and it works excellent . The NVR 808 series with the color cameras has excellent vision day time and night time. I can count the bugs on the ground and flying around. The picture is so clear on the LNB3373B Motorized Lens camera and the focus is excellent. I also bought the LNB3321B cameras and the picture is excellent as well as the 3D vision and the night vision is excellent. I can see any movement with all these cameras at night. The LED's on these cameras work really excellent at night as well as the night distance. The NVR 808 series works excellent and has a lot of features. The monitor that came with the system is okay but they should give a better monitor. I would recommend buying a 1080 HD IP system it is the best way to go if you want excellent video and pictures. It is crystal clear during the day and at night and it is even better when my spot lights come on with motion. I like the one wire setup from the cameras to the NVR. It is very easy to install at any location. I like the bullet cameras you can see a good distance and a wider view. So go with the 1080 HD IP camera system for a little more money it's worth it.

Very impressed with the system. I was able to get up and running in no time. Images are great. Really happy.
The only thing is I am not impressed with the dome cameras in the situation I have them installed; Wall mount. Bullets would have been a better choice. I am not saying the domes are bad. They work great. Just getting them aligned is much harder than the bullets.
I did have to contact tech support on accessing the NVR from outside the house and they were super helpful and got me running in no time.

Great product! Delivered quickly, easy to install and connect to. No surprises: got exactly what I expected.

I recently purchased the HD 1080p IP camera system with monitor and 2 domes (HDIP82MVDW). Here is my opinion after using it for a couple of weeks:
- I received the order pretty quickly
- Bought this on Cyber Monday and got a great deal.
- Setting up the internet access to my IPhone was very simple and works great. I use it all the time.
- The motorized dome cameras are great and I am able to zoom in from my phone. You just need to be patient as it does take some time to get there.
- Night vision is pretty good. I get to see what I need to. Not sure what people's expectations are but for me it was fine.
- Did not get the same monitor that was advertised although the advertisement is confusing. It shows 2 different monitors. Called Lorex several times and was finally advised that they would be sending me the correct monitor. Should arrive this week so we will see. The one I received worked fine but it was not HD so if you change the display on the DVR to HD you will not be able to see it on the monitor. They should fix their advertising so that it is clear as to what monitor comes with the system.
- Have heard this complaint before and I can confirm that the DVR fan is loud. I have it in another room so it really doesn't bother me.
- Don't really think it is fair to call this a CON but the wiring throughout the attic and mounting the cameras was a hassle. In the end it worked out great and the system works perfectly.
Overall I am satisfied and I would purchase from Lorex again. I am planning on adding a couple of more cameras to the system in the near future.

I bought this equipment for personal home surveillance. It arrived well packaged and on time. The installer seemed to have no problem with the installation and set up the network DVR for me. I wish I would have ordered a system that has the option of adding a PTZ camera. Now that it's installed, I am finding that would have been helpful to monitor one area of my home.

I bought this system for my wife's new Business. I wanted one that would be easy to use and provide that peace of mind in the event that something happen. So far the system has done its job. The equipment is of great quality and the customer service is fine. I recommend that you check them out and see what they can do for you.
Easy to setup, works as expected.
Shipping took longer than I expected around Thanksgiving but the setup couldn't have been any easier
I bought the dome cameras for under my overhang and they worked perfect.Good angle visibilty and clear picture. pretty easy to hook up though I did have to go in the attic to run the cable.I expected that when I bought it. But it is a good system. I like it.
very nice the picture quality is good but the nvr fan is louad.

I purchased the LNR42LE 1080 complete camera system in early june. It took two weeks to be sent out which was fine as it is a new to the lorex inventory. I was looking for cameras of a high quality at a competative price point. I found them through a google search after a friend suggested them based on their specs. He installs bosch security cameras for a living along with home automation and they were a bit out of my price range. These cameras are amazing. The clarity is fantastic. The range on the infared states 150 ft or 100 ft in total darkness. I'd say thats a little ambitious but not far off. Maybe 130 and 90 ft in total darkness. And even still the image produced is very good. The installation was very simple. I mounted them on the soffit and used clear silicon to ensure they were sealed as well as possible from the weather. The cat5 cable runs were simple and hooking them up to the nvr was a breeze. The setup was so easy. The whole process is simple as it automatically configures your router to function for remote connection. The Nvr box is fairly quiet. Earler reviews said the fan was loud. That is not the case with this box. The monitor is great. I actually am using it for my desktop computer and use it to view over network connection rather than locally at the nvr. The lorex netHD app for android connected flawlessly over 3g 4g and wifi connection. I can view both cameras in real time or watch the recordings anywhere I am. You can set the cameras up for motion detection or continuous recording as well as have an alert email sent to your phone if motion detection notices an event or movement in one of your highlighted zones. The software on the nvr is very easy to navigate and simple for most people to understand. I did call lorex once to discuss some features and the call waiting time was REALLY excessive. If anything could be better it is definitely the time it takes to answer a phone. To sum it up this system is great. Setup is simple and the quality is on par with bosch cameras. I would buy this again knowing the quality and setup. I will buy more cameras in the future guaranteed. I wish they offered a pair of cameras with one indoor and one outdoor dome ip camera as i'd like one of each. Lorex please remove reviews that are not relevent to this system such as the 720p

When I ordered the system the Lorex web site was upfront that the components were on back-order. I was pleasantly surprised that they did a partial shipment of the NVR and monitor which allowed me to get the networking configuration completed. The cameras came a few weeks later.
I found the tools and instructions to set up the DDNS were very simple, and the remote monitoring clients are working well on my Samsung Galaxy S2 and wife?s iPhone 4S. (I do have a degree in Electrical Engineering and work in the communications industry, but I followed the steps in the quick start guide with no problems.) The image quality of the HD cameras is amazing in both day and night! The cameras do a good job adjusting to the lighting conditions. I am happy with the quality of the cameras and the NVR unit.
The only negative feedback I have is the 27? monitor is kind of cheap. Mine shows the green colors in a neon hue and I cannot fix it in the settings. It does the job for basic viewing, but I which I had the option to opt out of the monitor and get an HDMI video balun kit for Lorex instead to integrate it to my home theater.

I received my unit quickly and was pleased with how easy it was to set-up. The Network configuration can be a bit tricky but I had the entire system up and running within an hour or so. The client software is much easier to use than operating the system using the mouse. I cant seem to get the settings right for viewing on my android phone/tablet so I plan on calling tech support. So far so good. I will update my review once I've had more time with the system.
The cameras are very easy to set up. The quality of the cameras are sharp during the daylight (really nice). The cameras work as well in the night as it is during the daytime. Because the surrounding of my have do not have much light, the IR in the cameras kick in and you can see everything from the outside on your monitor/TV. The only problem I had with this system is the connectivity after connecting the DVR through my router to view it on my Iphone. I called up tech support and the wait was very long. I showed this system to my friends and they were amazed at how good the quality of the pictures were.
Ordered the LNR200 Security Camera w/NVR. All the Cameras worked but the HDMI out on the NVR was bad. So I tried to contact tech support. I was on hold for 45min then it sad transferring now, I heard a phone ringing and was waiting for a tech to pick up 20 min later, Nothing!!! so I hung up. So over an hour and No Tech Support. So I called Costco.com they said we have a backdoor # for Lorex Tech Support they did answer in 3min and Costco was on the phone to here the conversation. Almost forgot my friend got a system at Home Depot he installed if it said 720P Well the crooks came back to the front door the camera was 6 feet away. You couldn't make out the persons face. Same thing with the camera over the driveway it was so blurry you could not read the word California that was in large print, but we guessed what it said. So the jury is still out on there systems.
Great system. User manual is easy to follow. Quick help chart was very helpful. Technical support was great.

I got this full HD network camera system. I like it. The picture is clear and using powered Cat 5 cables that make installation much easier. The Lorex Quick Networking Guide is a very good tool to help with the system setup. The recorder was little noisy. The only problem I had is the quality of your custom services. First of all, it took me long time to dial in. Secondly, the line was off when a first level representative passes the line to a higher level support after he tried over 10 minutes and never called back.
Pros: good picture quality, software works well, good support available from lorex website, mac compatible with safari plugin, cameras are excellent in low light, very good price / performance combination Cons: remote viewing requires computer-savvy user Model Number: LNR282C4B "I'm very happy with this system. Setup is relatively straight-forward. The NVR recognizes and displays the cameras about 30 seconds after connection. I had little trouble connecting the NVR to my local computer network following the instructions for setting up my router. I use Macs, not Windows PCs. There is a plugin for the Safari browser that is super easy to install and makes either local or remote viewing of the Lorex cameras very easy. It's probably easier setting up the Safari plugin than installing the Lorex software in Windows! I was also able to get remote viewing setup on iPhone and iPad, using the Lorex NetHD and NetHD Plus apps from iTunes. This is relatively easy if one follows the instructions on the Quick Start Guides that come with the system. The only problem was that after setting up the apps, the first time I tried to go to "Live View", both my iPhone and iPad gave me "Insufficient Memory" warnings. But, once I left the app and opened it again, the live camera views came up fine. Noise is not an issue for me. Fan noise is equivalent to my computer gear -- no better or worse."
I have only had this product for 4 days and I am still deciding on final installation options, however, I did connect all of the cameras. I am very impressed with the clarity of the daytime images and how much can be seen in basically total darkness. One surprise so far - I am going to need to be very careful on outdoor placement. My experiments so far have demonstrated that the cameras will "focus" on close in leaves. I believe this system will provide exactly what I expected.

Sadly, I really wanted to keep this but the fan noise is unacceptable in the location that I am able to put it (my office). I have several computers in the room and other electronic equipment, and this DVR is louder than all the other electronics I have COMBINED. It's just unacceptable. Maybe if you have a place you can put it where noise isn't an issue it would work for you.. but the fan noise was just too much to take 24/7.

Bought, tested with 4 connected cameras. But I am confuse if it will record and play back all 8 channel in HD 1080P @ 30 FPS (240FPS) per website's advertised or just 15 FPS (120 FPS) per User's Manual. Which one is correct? The picture quality is great but was unable to use it as a standalone IP camera likes the Qsee IP camera without NVR. Look great but not sure if frame rate drop if I plan to populate 4 more camera. If anyone know, please verify. Thanks

This seems to be a very powerful system. It's new, so I don't use all of its functions as yet. The Cameras are 1080p, but I like that I can switch to 720p, since that's my monitor capacity. By the way, you have to match the Camera to your Monitor, otherwise your picture looks choppy. You can do this in the Record section of the Menu. The set-up was easy, all you're running is the Ethernet cable from the Cameras to the Recorder. The Cameras are small enough, they almost look inconspicuous. If more variety of Cameras were offered, it would be nice. The Recorder (NVR) does have a hum, like any other recorders or computers, but not loud enough to be irritating. The unit is not any bigger than a Blu-Ray player. The unit does come with a Remote Control, though I'm not sure what its function is since the unit also comes with a mouse and I use it for everything. I could write more about it, but I don't think Lorex will give me that much space. All-in-all, this system is great. It has set-ups galore. It seems like Lorex put everything they had (Technology) into this system. You definately can't go wrong.

My order was delivered quickly (2 days). Instructions for installation are very clear. Camera's resolutions are great (very clear picture). Online setup was easy and it's great. You probably can't put the recorder in a sleeping room, because of the fan noise but it is like most computers. Lorex customer service was helpfull for a question I had. Everything works as I expected.
