The product itself is good. Only thing I don’t like is the inability to view high quality playbacks on a mobile device. You can view HD live feeds from mobile, but not HD playback. The desktop app for a PC will allow HD playback, and works fine, so if you really need to see a recording in HD you can do so directly to the unit, or a PC version, just not with the mobile version. Motion also works further than expected, and is easy to adjust as needed. Cameras did not come pre paired to the dvr like described, but was easy to pair. I get good video, and good wireless range. No real issues with the product itself. This would be a 5 star review if my original order wasn’t messed up and handled poorly. My original order was for the previous gen wirefree system. After a week of no shipping notice, I contacted support to ask what’s the status. They told me the original order was obsolete and needed to be cancelled. They told me I needed to order this system instead. No expedited shipping, discount, not even an apology for the mixup due to their website allowing orders to be placed that wouldn’t be fulfilled. When I asked the rep I spoke to if this newer system came with 2 or 4 cell batteries, I was told they were only 2 cell batteries, but 4 cell could be ordered. Truth is this system comes with 3 cell batteries, and the rep didn’t know the product they upsold me on. If I didn’t already have experience with Lorex products, that mixup, or shady up sell would have made me look elsewhere. The original Lorex wired product I ordered for my work has been flawless for over two years, this new wirefree system works good as well. (At least the week it’s been running) Just very disappointed on how support handled my order issue, being their site listed an obsolete item as a “new product.” Great product, support not as much.
