These cameras worked great for the first year, and one by one the IR diodes died leaving them completely useless at night and, strangely, unable to pick up colors during the day. Thought they would last a long longer than they actually did. Very unfortunate. Unsure if I will buy again.

Currently I have seven cameras working and have had the Lorex system for about two years, the system is running good, the system stays on 24/7. However I've had to replace four of the cameras as they eventually lose color. In three cases the picture was yellow and I have a current camera where the picture is pink. At night the picture is perfect in black and white but during the day it's not the case. I do wish the cameras would stop losing color.
I love being able to access the cameras on my tablet and phone which is a plus.
I bought mine last October 2012 and they are working fine although one of the adapter was defective. The cameras are great and pictures are clear except at times when you playback the recorded events on days that are bright day time or glaring daylight the scenes are a bit blurry and hard to see. Playback quality needs improvement but overall I am happy with the units. I got mine at Costco and the kit came with 8 cameras (1 camera's night vision did not work - daytime works). I am trying to get the adapter and camera replaced. Hopefully they will as it is still under warranty.
I have used their customer support for setting up with my android to have my security on my phone and also on my tablet when I am traveling and I am able to check on the home - love this feature! - the best! I can check on my "babies" (my dogs). Customer support is great in helping me setup my android phone and tablet although took a long time to get through - they had to call me back. I definitely would recommend this product as I am satisfied over-all. Defective adapter and 1 camera are minor for me and hopefully can get replaced since I submitted my ticket request. So the units have been up and running for over 6 months now (4 cameras at a time since 1 adapter is not working) and they are working fine. I saw the comment on another saying the camera have gone blurry I think it is because it has to be cleaned. They get dusty and film over in time outdoor. If you wipe the cameras they are clear again.
We have had the Lorex wired 4 camera security system installed for less than a year and already 2 camera have gone blurry.
