We purchased the 2 pack to go with an existing system (Ecobox and 2 cameras) that we had purchased in May 2014. They were very easy to add to our system and easy to install. I love the new feature that they come pared with the receiver out of the box, so we didn't need to go back up on the latter to pare. They updated easily on my phone app to. I have had two problems in the past two years with the DVR and both times I was able to reach customer support for instructions on how to reset for proper viewing.

So far all cameras are working fine. Good resolution. Easy installation. The hand remote however is totally useless with the DVR but that is more than offset by being able to remotely monitor from anywhere in the world. I feel like I'm home and where ever else at the same time.

I bought this LW2287B-2pk in December,2015 and installed them three weeks after. One of these two cameras has already had problems with its focus. Its picture is always very fogy and unclear. I tried the reset button and even tried to unplugged the camera to see if it could reset itself. None of them works.
Tried to call the support and can not wait for too long. tried to send email, but unsuccessful. I give it up.

We apologize for any inconvenience. We were happy to assist you with this. If you have any further questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact us. 1-888-425-6739.

I received these cameras a couple of days ago, and only have one connected so far. They are replacements of two others that when the bad. These seem to be better in many aspects, metal housing, smaller in length, and better day/night video.

I had excellent service from a customer service representative who took care of things fairly quickly.

I am the owner of 3 wireless cameras. I have (2)lw2220 and (1) lw2281. The night vision of one of my lw2220 camera stopped working. It works great with low light and during daylight hours. It was installed in March 2014, and I decided to replace it. I have been reading some reviews with a common issue of the night vision failing on these wireless cameras, so I was reluctant to replace it, but I did anyway. I ordered a two pack of lw2281 cameras. Lorex shipped me two lw2277 cameras instead with no explanation. When I called they explained they did not have the lw2281 in stock. Lorex said the lw2277 was an upgrade. The specs on the lw2277 camera has better night vision range and a slightly larger viewing angle compared to the lw2281. They did give me a discount when I complained. I have the new camera installed and it is working fine. Hopefully it will last longer than the lw2220 it is replacing. Overall, I am pleased with my cameras, and Lorex has a good website and good customer support. It is hard to get thru to talk to an agent at times.

I added two wireless cameras to an existing wired Lorex system to provide coverage to my driveway entrance gate area. Installation was simple, and the cameras performed very well. While I was within the advertised range, at about 120 feet actual between camera and my receivers, and had a direct line of sight (though a window) to the receivers, one of the two cameras sometimes blinked out, for example if I stood in between the camera and receiver. So, that was about at the practical limit of use. Acceptable in my situation. Just recently, after about one month of use, one of the cameras has failed for night vision, but still is good for daylight. I will be returning that camera under warranty, and expect it will be replaced. My rating is based upon what I expect will be excellent warranty service.

The technician I worked with was fantastic and walk me through the installation and ordering of the camera's. I purchased this system online for a vacation home and I explained to the guy on the phone what I needed and told him we only went there about once a month. He replied that he knew exactly what I needed and recommended the LW2277 and said it would record up to 45 days. I purchased and installed the system and the picture is good and sound is O.K. however there was no operating manual included with the system. I called tech. support and unfortunately spoke with someone who did not speak fluent English and I could not understand what he said. He referred me to his supervisor who spoke somewhat better English and he helped me set up the system to be motion activated and it took about 30 minutes on the phone. There is no way I could have figured out how to set up this system without his help or a manual. Seems like it would be much simpler to include an operating manual with all camera systems. There were no instructions on how to view recorded videos or how to reset the cameras once they were filled. I later discovered that the system would only record a maximum of 7 days on full motion and about 21 days on motion activation depending on the activity. I was very disappointed because I told the sales person that I needed a system that would record for at least 30 days. I requested a manual and a very courteous lady called me and informed me how to download an operating manual from the internet.

We purchased these two cameras to add to our existing DVR. They were better than the original cameras that came with DVR, the quality of the pictures are decent and have not had any problems in the past couple of months that they have been installed. Product ordering process was a snap. Lorex staff answered my questions with confidence and accuracy thus I ordered only what I needed. Received cameras quickly and in excellent shape. Purchased these cameras to provide surveillance around my home. Installation instructions were clear and easy to understand, especially the graphics. Had them installed in about an hour. Color and clarity of cameras exceeded my expectations. Night vision while not as clear gives me reasonable views of my home entrance, backyard and driveway. Audio is clear and distinct from over a 100 feet. Biggest selling point was ability to place cameras outdoors. The housing is metal and appears to be durable. I am not a fan of plastic exposed to sunlight and other elements over long periods. Signal strength is five by five. Moderate to heavy rain does obscure the lens but quickly clears after the rain stops. Would like to see same camera with larger hood cover. Would like to see Lorex develop a metal hood similiar to a chimney cricket to cover the camera when installed on top of a sloping roof. I recommend this product to anyone wanting a quality product at a reasonable price and backed by outstanding customer service

Very good camera excellent night vision this is my replacement set (needed one) for two that failed after 2-3 years of outside use. Be cautious of placing them near a light source at night it will degrade the night vision over time and fail the camera. The other cameras in my system still work great, and have only required to be reset (power on off) to clear up black out problems going to the DVR unit. Sometime more that once a week. However with all that said and done I would buy these cameras again and again...they have survived cold weather spider infestations and all kind of crazy weather including a fair number of hurricanes and have always worked fine......just remember sometimes leaving the porch light on will away to much will burn out you night vision to the point that you have to leave the light on at night to see through the camera, however day mode works great. Excellent camera system that may look like it can't do outside weather well but is very capable of doing it...thank goodness for wireless. Enjoy

Tried a different LOREX system that did not have enough memory, so I purchased an H-263 Digital Video Recorder and had to get these cameras to match the recorder. Good quality for a security camera at this price. Easy to setup, except finding electrical outlets for the camera plugs.

I may add additional cameras.

The internet acces was not easy to configure and the wireless signal seems to be strong, but the signal get lost quite often. These cameras were better than expected. The picture quality is excellent even in low light. Transmission through multiple stucco walls to the receiver still provides three bars of reception. I already have four of these cameras currenty to my wireless security system and decided to upgrade an extra two more cameras. The picture quality I rate 8 out of 10. On my first purchase one of the cameras infered LED night vision lights were not lighting up and was defective. I contacted support and a technician asked me a few questions and let me know that they would send me a new camera and replace the defective camera. All in all I like the wireless cameras very much but I had to add an Netgear Universal Wifi Range Extender WN3000RP to my network because I was getting an interferance and I wasn't able to use my laptop or iPad without being very close to the router. So I added the Netgear Universal Wifi Range Extender to my network and then hooked up the ethernet cat5 wire coming from the security DVR directly to the range extender and presto no more interferance with any of my wireless devices. I would recommend these cameras to any client. They are worth the money and very easy to hook up.

Well I have been wanting one of these babies for some time to help keep a 24-7 watch on my rural property. This one certianly fits the bill.

The wireless part is a must have too me.

I had this thing up and running in less than 10 minutes. Mounting it took alittle longer.

Very well built looks commercial quality.

The night time range is much better than rated. Atleast 250 ft.

The image is pretty good.

I just plugged it into my DVR and instant recordings.

Wireless signal is a big bounus, less wires.

Amazing Value, very impressed

Rock solid wireless video. I'm amazed. I've used 900 mhz and other 2.4 ghz transmitters in the past and nothing compares to this. For the money you can't beat it. I have the camera in my garage and the receiver upstairs on the opposite side of a 2500 sq ft house and have no clarity issues at all. The night vision works perfectly and the resolution is acceptable. This would make a good front door camera or garage shot. Well done Lorex.

Wireless security camera

This camera is easy to use and set up, and believe me, I'm not good with stuff like that. It's plug and play and wireless and you can connect it directly to your TV, monitor, or a surveillance recorder.

The resolution isn't great, but I guess I'd expect that from a security camera. It covers a good amount of area and the night vision works well.

It comes with 2 power adapters, a BNC female / RCA male adapter, 3ft BNC extension cable, Quick Start Guide, Instruction Manual,Mounting Kit, 1-Year Warranty and toll-free technical support (with product registration).

A good wireless camera

The camera is up and working outside. The distance from the camera & DVR/receiver is about 40ft and I have a good strong signal thru several walls. It works as advertised and am quite satisfied with it. If I need another camera I will definitely keep this one in mind.

71 out of 73

I purchased this to record from exterior location to interior location. I knew that the transmission wasn't optimal through an exterior wall, but thought the higher quality one would suit the purpose. It does work, but as it is running through a wall, the frame per second is about 1 or 2. Quality is not as good as I thought, either. However, it isn't a $500 camera, so I think it is still a fair and decent option.

72 out of 73

Good Quality

We have had this camera system installed for about 1 month. The color picture quality is very good. The night vision (although a shorter distance than during daylight) provides a nice view of our driveway during the night hours. For the price, this camera is a very good value and we would purchase again.

Good Pruduct

Good reception, good picture, ok sound. The camera stays in night mode in my house because of low light, so that means black & white picture, but that is fine, night mode works very good, even in pitch black. The day mode works fine outside, just not inside; my house is just too dark. The sound is not great but, you can hear what is going on. Don't get me wrong it is not bad; just don't expect movie camera quality sound. Over all, I was impressed, outside it worked from about 300 ft. away, inside, it works anywhere in my house. But i do have fairly small house. It is a good product. I would recommend it to anyone. The only thing that I did not like is the power cord for the camera is not really out door quality.
