Replaced the Edge2 DVR from existing system, and setup was easy. Customer Service was excellent, went to the Customer Support office, they did not charge me for diagnostic of the old DVR. I purchased new DVR to replace (existing) from Lorex and up and running after a couple of days. Will keep this system a few more years then upgrade to HD Cameras and HD DVR. Lorex is the way to go.....

Our 16 channel DVR was the easiest product to install and use. It was the right decision for our church. Once the cameras were installed, the setup of the system only took minutes. Great product.

Second lorex product and I love it.
Very user friendly and support has always been there if I had a question or an issue

This Lorex system is a giant leap into the future in comparison to my previous Speco system. The Lorex LH330 is compact, quiet, HDMI to TV connect and entirely self maintained. I can easily operate the cameras for observation and playback viewing via the remote and mouse. Contact with customer service was pleasant and reassuring knowing that skilled communicative technicians are just a phone call away.

This system saved my dogs life. I was preparing to leave the house and noticed the monitor showed trash all over the back yard.... dog had gotten into rat poison. He would have died had I not gotten him to the vet.
In hindsight, I wish I had gotten a DVR with more ports. It's ok to have vacant ports but can't add more later....
Never have been able to view DVR over the internet. To be fair I never have contacted support but it shouldn't be this difficult.

Customer service is what makes a product better than competition and they have exceeded expectations on any service issue I have had, thanks

Good system for price, but suggest getting someone who knows how to install security systems. Excellent customer service will provide you with information on contractors to install system. Took 11 hours 1st day and they came back 2 additional days to adjust cameras and help with customer support, worth the investment in hiring professional, system runs like a charm!!
Good clear pictures, even at night, even on my phone.
My wife sleeps soundly now at night.

Wonderful product!! Easy to setup and works on my smartphone with an app....what more could you ask for!!
I used the quick start guide and the cameras were working on my monitor attached to the DVR in 15 minuets. It took me 3 hours to get installed on my home network so as to view from my main computer. It took 3 more hours to set-up remote viewing from work or where ever, but this I did with nephew Chris a self taught networker. I have already recommended this system to help with an elderly uncle.
I'm very satisfied everything . It was packaged well and is a quality product. The picture and reception is great. I have plastered walls and aluminum siding and I get 3 bars through 3 walls and out on my barn.

Great system. Very clear pictures.

I purchased this product online in July of 2013 for $600.00. I did a fair amount of research and found that lorex offered the best quality For the do it yourself home owner. I had the cameras installed and wires ran in about two day'. Careful planning is needed to figure out the best route to run your wires.
After we got the camera's online i was very pleased with the quality of video.and the night vision works well too. It say's 100' night vision. But i would say it's more like 65-70
The most difficult part of the whole installation was. Getting it to work on our mobile devices. Despite my wife and i being pretty cpu savy and following the directions very closely. It took 3 calls to tech support before they got it working. They even had a difficult time getting it done.
But they were very helpful, pleasant and professional. Now that the system is working 100%
I am very satisfied. I think it provides a great sense of security for any home or business.
And i would recommend it to my friends.

this product is awsome. takes a while to read up & learn about all the great features it does.
it is an amazing value for a great price. I love the system so far. =:)
Products were easy to install, in fact my husband and I worked together on the installation. Directions were great, easy to understand.
We purchased this system as a replacement for an earlier 8 channel Lorex system. This newer system seems much more user friendly. We already had 8 cameras so adding this 16 channel system that came with 8 cameras was a no brainer. Took about 5 minutes to swap cables and we can now add 8 more cameras! We have always had good results with Lorex.

These are very handy to keep track of who is coming and going in the yard of our repair shop. We had one issue with a camera not working and Lorex sent us a new camera no problem. It is a bit complicated in setting it up so takes some time to get is they way you want.

This product is an out of the box ready to go system. As soon as the cameras were installed and dvr hooked up the cameras were displaying on the monitor thanks to an easy to use software that was installed on the dvr system. Cameras are clear even in total darkness.
Fantastic great :)
Second lorex product love it best out there
I have four lorex DVR. I have three old types. two sets of L19 and L20. I have this newer version I think which is lorex edge. I dont have any problems with my lorex edge when it comes to connecting remotely using the internet. But with my 3 other modles I dont understand why I can connect then sometimes I cant.
Furthermore this helps my business a lot.

Very nice product. It was pretty easy to set up and delivers good performance. The only thing which I couldn't get to work is the Android client on my Google Nexus. But the iPhone and iPad apps both work fine and my main cell phone is the iPhone anyway, so no big deal.

Good product when in the DVR is in tandem with the wireless cameras.
Running wires can be a major hassle and nightmare, especially since you want to run them quickly so that you can gain security to your home.
Lorex offers clear tutorials describing to the novice how to do the set up. (It wouldn't hurt to have a techogeek as a friend, though!)
The cameras set up as quickly as you can find an outlet to plug them into and the DVR is a little bit trickier, as it has MANY options for set up and use.
All in all, considering the little bit if trouble setting it up by myself, I would rate this product as a 4 out of 5. Maybe if I had experience with other cameras and DVRs, my rating would be different. But as I am a novice at this bit of technology, I rate it well as I have a logical run mind and can usually figure out technology with playing around with it for awhile.
Best decision I ever made. Very user friendly and support has always been there if I had a question or an issue.
