I am still trying to get two of the camera's to receive. One is further away that is sending while closer ones will not. The FLIR Ap does not work on the Android Tablet. Says access denied. Tried to chat with Lorex and received no help. Have submitted two tickets for support help and have received no reply.
Didn't realize what a chore this would be, maybe it is still smarter to use wired or have someone else install.

My system was very easy to set up for the most part. Difficult part was positioning cameras, as I feel the two set screws come out of connector unscrew too easy, allowing for nut to fall to floor during installation. Camera clarity is good, FLIR software via internet is good. I Like the fact I can turn on and off motion indicators on each camera.

The resolution is great. DVR and software is ok. The system configuration is not for the non technical. The documentation is not the greatest, but if you are technical savvy you will be able to configure the system. You must have a dual band router. Your 2.4g band will be rendered useless once the system is connected. All and all a great system I would recommend.

This seems to be a good security system, however the set up instructions were very vague. This product is awesome for the price can't beat it. Bought this four camera set from BJ's wholesale. Cameras fantastic, range good, night vision good. Learning to retrieve past info not so bad, with tele support. The cameras were easily installed and quickly appeared when attached to the supplied DVR system. One camera location had an intermittent picture, But this problem was quickly solved when I ordered and installed the recommended range extender. Questions I had about The installation and use of the product we're very quickly answered and resolved by the helpful technical support staff. I was impressed with the quality of the nighttime images from the cameras. I would recommend this unit.
This seems to be a good security system, however the set up instructions were very vague. We had a problem with the latest firmware upgrade and the system crashed and thank the Lord that I have an IT professional that could speak with your tech support department and diagnose the problem over the phone and my system was replaced in a timely fashion. I find the system very useful and just 2 days ago I had to go back to the recordings to make a copy of the video of an armed robbery of a neighbor and they have forwarded the video to the police so they can use their enhancement programs to identify the the assailants.
I would recommend this system to my friends as I feel it is very easy to set up and use.

I purchased this from Costco in store and found the set p a breeze and the picture quality superb. Have only had this a short time but when the other 2 cameras come and are hooked up am sure will be everything I need. Thank you. There's no place to enter the LH060 Model from BJ's so this is the closest version of the wireless systems. I'm a techie guy and did not find it that intuitive to get things setup and running and very disappointed that the software does not work with Windows 10/Edge or Chrome. I also still have problems getting the DDNS setup to work. I am a Comcast with customer with a standard X1 router - nothing too complicated. I tried using the recommended software to auto-configure the router, which did not work. So I updated the ports directly in the router. I went away and was hoping to use the FLIR app on my iPhone which was working fine until I went to check in and it lost my device. Since you need to scan the QR code to reconfigure, it was useless. I do like the ease of the wireless cameras - those were easy to configure and working directly off of the main device with the mouse is cumbersome, but doable. The cameras were good enough for my use. I like the concept of the whole system, but there are a lot of flawed user experiences in the end to end view. I would not recommend this for a novice.

Bought this four camera set from BJ's wholesale. Came with no user manual. None listed by LH0604D which is my model. Telephone support great. Linking to a modem is not for the novice. Takes Loxex and Modem support people to accomplish. Cameras fantastic, range good, night vision good. Learning to retrieve past info not so bad, with tele support.
After lots of frustration my set is working, not as meant to but as Lorex techs made it to. Overall satisfied with Loxex and rate tech support high.

After 6 years it was time to replace my wireless cameras. Ordering by phone was impossible. After a painful wait time, I selected the option for a return call. They never called. After several days, I tried again. After a 45 minute wait I finally was able to place an order.
After installation, one camera was defective. Getting it replaced was a nightmare. The web site is very complicated, chatting didn't work. After another unreasonably long wait, I was finally able to get a claim processed.
Doing business with Lorex has come to an end for me.

Product has great data wireless range though it is wise to find a camera mounting location near a power outlet to avoid stretching power cords all over the place.
The set up could not have been simpler. Literal plug and play. Most of my work was driving the mounting screws. The Lorex FLIR Secure App works flawlessly but frankly we need true internet access and no browser is compatible with the Lorex plug in required despite the DDNS web site. The product claims to be viewable over the internet with your own web site (cool right?) and while everything on my end is set up right, the Lorex plug in is simply incompatible with every browser I have tried. We tried Chrome, Internet Explorer, Edge, Safari - holy heck there aren't that many other web browsers for Pete's sake. Tech Support FAQs say Lorex has been working this issue since last year so I gotta think Internet access with a known web browser is just not a priority to Lorex. If you need true Internet based access like we need you better look into a different company.

Great reception and resolution. White plastic base mounts are light weight. Lock collar slips - won't keep camera tight. Need to use stronger or thicker plastic... Or metal.

Product is second system I have purchased (added, not replaced). This was 1/2 the price of the previous and easier to set up and operate. Good range and clear pictures on the wireless. Totally happy. Called technical once with two questions - no wait time and technician answered the questions quickly and accurately!

The cameras were easily installed and quickly appeared when attached to the supplied DVR system. we did a lot of research to find a wireless system for our small office exterior that was easy to set up. there are SO many brands and systems to choose from it was not an easy task. Found this one at Sam's Club and thought we'd give it a try. Now that it is up and working we are glad we did it. Just some 'honest' co. mments about the wireless system.
1. it takes much longer to really get it up and running than we thought....much longer. Went online to get help with the manual and it's over 150 pages. Forget that...we just figured it out mostly by ourselves.
2. the images that are shown are 'jerky motion' images. We learned that is because it is wireless. just looks odd because when you see cars or people moving it is not a smooth movement and takes some getting used to.
3. wireless 'connection' is much more limited than we thought, due apparently because the cameras are all outside and I guess the signal has a tough time getting through the concrete block exterior walls. sometimes we get the 'camera out of range' reading on the monitor but it tends to come back quickly enough.
4. iphone usage is really not as good as we hoped. you MUST have a good wifi signal or forget trying to see your camera images on the iphone. Also, the app is difficult because you have to continue to keep trying to bring up the image by hitting a 'save' button on the app. works ....but you must have great connection .....and even then the app is not that perfect.
5. we had camera images that were dark and called for customer service. EXCELLENT tech support and very quick! many points for this! they showed me how to adjust each camera in the dvr to get a better image.
bottom line? Yes. we like it . we recommend it but with the above honest comments about the system.
I have installed many cameras over the years trying to find a system that was not only easy to install, but performed well and had low maintenance. The Lorex system was a pleasant surprise! The installation was a piece of cake. All of the instructions were included in the box, with illustrations and simple to follow directions. I couldn't believe how uncomplicated it was. I would highly recommend this system for someone looking for an easy to install option that will provide you with the security you need for your home or business.

This wireless system was very easy to install. It picks up a great picture. Although the image is a little delayed getting to the TV. Everything was working perfect for us during the installation until we got to the last camera. We could not get a signal from the camera. I contacted Lorex and a replacement camera is on the way. Well, cameras work great to DVR and if TV/monitor is connected to DVR then fab quality. The iPad app and iPhone app are atrocious even in the same network. You have to watch the time move to know it is not frozen. It can freeze for about a minute so your not really watching live view. Picture quality on apps are a joke. Instructions for motion alert & recording so confusing. Date and time in USA format. Tried to install on my Mac but Mac reporting that their software is not compatible and may ruin my laptop. I am on OSX 10.11.2 Really, to sum up anything to do with software is a no go.

Bought the Lorex LH041 2 camera unit after trying other makes. Found it easy to set up although I have found that I do need some power extension cords. Not a problem really. I have had a little difficulty in setting up the motion recording however I think I may have solved my own problem. Time will tell. Instructions could be a little better in this area. Overall I am quite happy with this unit and it does everything I want it to. I would recommend this product.

Easy to install out of the box. Had an issue with one of the cameras which the retailer replaced immediately and then I used the helpline to assist me to pair up the new camera with the receiver - they were very helpful. The wide angle of the camera is also a good feature compared to similar products from other manufacturers. Only niggle so far is the awkwardness in adjusting the angle of the camera when fixing it to the wall. Waiting for a firmware update to allow me to use 24 hour clock notation and UK date format. Overall happy with the product so far.

Great little cameras for the price. Night vision is fine for what we need it for (A Driveway) but setting up the router was impossible, so we do without. Set up was a snap, our cameras were up and running in an hour. We'll get the 2 camera add-on kit soon for more views. We would recommend this product, in fact, we already have.

I bought a 2 camera system and then added a third camera to my wireless system. Had an electrician run power to the location of the cameras and then installed them with ease. Picture is great. The third camera has a microphone with it so we can hear what the camera is seeing. We installed the DVR so we could see everything on our TV and will next add the ability to se what the cameras are seeing on our I-phones. Had to call tech support for a couple of operators errors an]nd they were able to get things straightened out in record time. We have been very impressed with the cameras and the tech support. Would recommend these wireless cameras to anyone looking for a security system. We even check with our computer guy and he said we bought a great system. Lorex is awesome.

Easy to install. I had problems with connecting to one of the camera's, after speaking to the Lorex support system it was fixed within minutes. I like the night vision as well as the daytime clarity of the camera lens, my ownly wish was that there was a zoom lens on the cameras.

Purchased this product at Costco Canada. Had been looking for some time for a good wireless system. I am very pleased with the ease of setup. I did have to call support because of a password issue and was very pleased with the prompt help that was provided.
We have had 3 break-ins and our insurance company told me that I would accually get a reduction in premium if I installed a surveillance system.
I love the dvr and the cameras. My only complaint is the mounting screws for the camera. They strip real easy. But otherwise I am pleased with the whole system.

The product I purchased came within about two weeks. It was packaged very well. Initial instructions were clear. I did require a couple of calls for tech. support. The support people are extremely helpful and know their products. I would recommend this product. I did have a problem with having to re-boot after loosing the connection. A call to support took care of the problem after the technician guided me through a procedure where the system would connect using a URL address.

We really like this product. The quick set up guide that it came with was a bit vague, but despite this set up was easy and we had our cameras up and running in about 20 minutes. As much as I had read about these types of systems including large name brand companies I was discouraged and afraid to even try this system for some time. I finally needed one for a new office location that I wasn't confident was safe. When I opened the box and reviewed the instructions it was very straight forward and very simple to install and use. I plan on buying this same system for my home and my parent's home and I would definitely recommend it for anyone else looking for an economical and easy to install system!
Bought the system from Costco. Hardest part was the camera places. Finally got all connected but instructions were not as clear as I wanted so I phoned the help line and got excellent support. Had to do this twice and both gave of their expertise and time to help out. It is now running and wireless was the only I could go. After a two car robbery off my driveway I had to put in some surveillance and warning systems. I feel more secure that it might prevent further misadventures.

Outstanding! I tried 2 other brands of wireless cameras- 1 came WITH ALOT of wires, the other, their app for my phone would only pick up 2 of the 6 cameras. So when I got the Lorex system.....I was like, no, it can't be this EASY to set up and work. UP & RUNNING in 25 minutes!!! The hardest part was figuring out where to put the cameras. I live in a big city and have it running constantly. No matter where I am for work (I work all over the city) all I have to do is open the app on my phone or ipad and I can see it all day or night. My only regret is that I didn't get the 8 camera system and do the inside of my home. I guess I'll just have to get another dvr and additional cameras. The EASE OF installing this and the quality of viewing and playback are WELL WORTH IT
I was looking for a good but simple wireless camera system to install. This product worked right out of the box, fast and easy installation. Love the emails when it detects motion. This product was better than expected, love it so far and looking forward to adding an extra camera or two.
Well if i can manage to set this up anyone should be able, so far got my camera inside, just need to put up the outside on the deck, please with it so far:) My only issue was I cant get the email alerts to work so I need to stay home long enough to get on with the technical guys and get it set up so if someone does enter I can get a snapshot of them (I think it has that capability)
I can see both my entrances and no one is gong to get in or out anymore without it being recorded:) Feeling much more secure and safe.
It's reassuring to now know i'm protected behind my garage. I will add a motion detector to enhance the night visuals. Just the sight of the camera will deter the honest criminals hopefully .
I knew that I wanted a wireless system after reading how difficult it was to fish all the wires. It would have been great to not have to even run the camera power but that is a small price to pay to have such a nice system. Ease to set up and the tech support is top notch. I really love the clarity and night time capabilities. I have it protecting my whole outside perimeter and the remote view is awesome on my Android phone.

Wanted a wireless system greater than VGA and I did not want to run video cables throughout the house. This wireless system with 720p resolution just became available at COSTCO. I liked what I saw at their display so I purchased it. Very easy to set up at home as I only had to run power to cameras. Network setup was easy only problem there is no Windows 10 driver yet so I have hooked up the system directly to a video monitor. The smart phone app was also a breeze to set up and now I can view my camera's signal anywhere there's phone coverage. Daytime picture quality is great.
