I purchased 2 sets of the 4-packs of Lorex Security Cameras 900TLV - LCD7722PK-4BW directly from the Vendor. The first set I purchased on February 29, 2016 and the second set on March 19, 2006. I installed all the cameras and they worked great for a time. Recently (2+ months ago), one of the Cameras is DEAD with no picture. The Infra-Red works, but no signal is coming back for the Camera with the Video.
I have contacted their support 7 or more times already and their customer service. They have provided me with a ticket Number and said they would send me a replacement camera. It has been at least 5 weeks and no camera. Every time I call to see where my replacement is, I get put in a 30+ minute queue and they say they will call me back. They do NOT call back or sometimes if they do, its 2 days later.
The equipment is fantastic if it works. However, when you have a problem such as I am having, the customer service and replacement of WARRANTY items is NON-EXISTENT. They do not want to replace my defective camera, and I am ready to contact the BBB in the state where they operate and file a Complaint. They do not stand behind their products as specified in their warranty of a year. It has been less then 6 months, and my camera has been down for about 2 months with no response as to when my replacement will arrive. Are they waiting on the entire warranty to expire and then telling me - too bad?
I would recommend their products only if they work and the customer service could handle problems in a professional, timely manner. However, since they cannot stand behind their warranty on products, I would not buy their products. Do they need to be sued to get the products and warranty items fixed? HORRIBLE!!!
