I purchased 8 channel LH158 ECO4 system. It came with 8 cameras Model MC7711. Worked for 2 years and the hard drive crashed. I had to replace it at my cost. Now 3 out of 8 cameras have turned foggy with purple color blurry images. Their service staff is great, but they cannot do anything about the product quality. Typical Chinese junk. I see several comments from customers about the same problem with these cameras.

Purchased 8 camera with DVR system 2 yrs ago. Installed easily and quickly. In the period of 2 yrs only had problem with 2 camera and Lorex replaced them instantly with no problems. In the last 4 weeks purchased 2 FOUR camera systems with DVR's.again installed without a problem. Not only are they rugged and install quickly, if you do have a problem Lorex has a great exchange policy.

I have a LC150 8 camera system and have had problems with 3 of the cameras. They still function but have developed a blueish tint to them, one to the point that it is nearly totally blocked. I contacted the Lorex tech support folks and explained the problem. They tried everything under the sun to fix the problem, even to the point that they asked if it was ok to take over control of my computer (I was using it as a monitor and storage of system recordings). I agreed and they tried various things to correct the problem, but nothing worked. Finally they contacted me and said that since I'd had so much trouble with the 3 cameras, they were going to replace them, a move that you rarely see in a business anymore. I can only say that the Lorex folks were outstanding and went out of their way to work on a fix and called a couple of times to discuss what they were doing. A great company and hats off to them.

Very pleased with the online process. I purchased a 4-pk of these cameras on sale at a great price with also a 15% discount on top of everything at payment. Good quality and they work well. I had three (3) cameras go PINK for some reason and I needed replacements for my 16-channel system. I've read in other reviews below, that other customers have had their camera(s) go PURPLE just like mine did. The one (1) year warranty had expired so I need to purchase and replace the ones that became defective. Now I know that this can happen with this model CVC7711.

Cameras are ok for not being HD. Clarity is pretty good. Nite is also pretty good. Have had a issue with some cameras turning a purple color which lorex could not seem to figure out why. Have read other people have had the same issue. They have been good on exchanging them since they were under warranty. Over-all I have been happy with the system, and it has come in handy.

The cameras are good, the problem is I was told they are plug & play replacement and the cords were at least 6 inches shorter which made it impossible to replace without remounting all the cameras.
Easy to install. Purchased to replace my older cameras. Clarity is great both day and night. Using the cameras in conjunction with a Lorex internet DVR so I'm able to view and playback video via the internet and can also view camera's via my smartphone.

I have had problems with at least 4 of these cameras. The color of the camera puts out a purple only color. Cables were checked and working cameras switched to see if it was the cables but its always the camera. I have read where the auto Iris gets stuck. Lorex has been good about exchanging them. I still recommend the system and some of my friends are also having the problem...I would think with the expertise and technology this company has they would fix the problem....
Cameras truly give you clear viewing during the day. Night time the colors aren't seen but objects are visible. When I called technical service to report a color change in one of the cameras, I was greeted and received exceptional advice. Love this system cause I can view the cameras from places other than my home. My cameras have already done the job of tracking a car thief who parked a stolen car by my house. The police had their person within hours of this incident.
