Great product. Very easy to use.
Returning defective items are a joke. Will never purchase through them ever again.
the Ethernet interface to your LAN/internet DOES NOT work well
This is from an 8 month user that has had nothing but problems with their equipment and net software for remote viewing. No one is ever available to take calls and help. Steer clear and buy elsewhere! Even if that means lessor equipment but better CS!
The system is prone to failures and it begs the questions of whether or not anyone should read reviews that have to be approved by the company being reviewed? hmmmmmmmmm
Not totally satisfied with anything thus far. I assume I am doing things wrong. First off been going round and round with Lorex while trying to return products. And hard to get someone to follow up with me. The software apps are not user-friendly, nor very clear. It is great that they have a lot of videos to help, but there are key points missing in some of the videos that explain the set up processes. Maybe this review will get their attention to help me.

I recently purchased and installed this system with 8 cameras. The installation and setup was very easy. The instructions as well as the on-line videos answers any questions that might arise. The quality of the cameras in both daytime and night are unbelievable. The night vision makes you think it is daylight. I have not notice any insects bothering the light. Living in Florida, that can often be a problem but the night vision does not seem to attract them. I have seem many cameras but the quality of the 960H Cameras (model LBC 7051) can not be match by anyone. They are easy to adjust to get the view you want. I would strongly advise anyone to use Lorex for your security needs.
This is a pretty good DVR. Easy to set up and the picture quality is good. Very easy to learn the different features as well.

Installed this unit for a client with existing cameras from a competing system. Everything went well, step-by-step, and they're now enjoying higher performance and remote access. The display engine is producing clearer images from the existing cameras and the new higher resolution cameras are very sharp. The smaller footprint allowed me to secure the unit inside and locked enclosure for added security.
As with ever other product I have from lorex, this works great. I have 2 separate 16 channels in locations and they are rock solid. Both android and iphone no issues. Easiest feature is probably the ddns service combined with the router configuration. No problems with this device, night and day from junk cheaper products.

the products are great set up is easy my only complaint was the wait time on phone I must say the second time I phoned was not near as long this is my second lorex system
Had an older Lorex system ia previous house but this is like night and day. This product makes my old existing cameras in y new house look like high def. I am not technically proficient but I installed this DVR. And set up the remote viewing by myself. By the way Iam a senior citizen, that is how easy this was. would recommend this product to anybody.. great. Product!
This product improves the quality of the picture for both night and day using any camera. The playback feature is excellent since you can review 4 or 8 channels at once. Easy set up. The remote control could be just a bit bigger.

I would recommend this unit to a friend. The unit is easy to install and after you set up the port forwarding the acsess form my smart phone or home pc is easy.
I will be looking to add a PTZ camera in the future and hope the operation is as good.
