1. Recording time may vary based on recording resolution & quality, lighting conditions and movement in the scene.
2. HDMI output (1920x1080) for high definition multi-channel live viewing only. High definition recording not supported, recording resolution is limited to a maximum of 960x480 per channel. Image quality and resolution is dependent on the type of camera connected to the DVR.
3. When used with 960H compatible cameras. DVR is backwards compatible and supports different camera inputs: standard resolution and 960H.
4. Requires a high speed internet connection and a router (not included).
5. Smart Phone & Tablet Compatibility: iPad®, iPhone®, Android (version 1.5 & above), Windows Mobile (6.0, 6.5), Symbian 3rd & 5th generation phones. 6. Video output resolution scaled up, auto adjusts to the connected monitor via HDMI connection (8 Channel Video only, 16 Channel Video and Audio).

My wife asked my to buy and install a camera surveillance system for the chicken coop I built. After a review of available systems I purchased and nstalled the LH110 series surveillance system in March of 2011 and never looked back. The installation was simple and straight forward. The system has worked flawlessly since then without downtime from system or camera failures. I am very happy with the product and would buy again.

Product was easy and a breeze to install. However, when it comes to customer support it is the worst. I am still waiting for someone to get in touch with me after a week. I was able to figure it out on my own but for people who can not figure things out ,Good Luck getting hold of support!!

I was past the 1 year Warranty. Ticket #: 57356-153118 = On July 4'th, 2016 My neighbors decided to have some FireWorks party on both sides of my home, on their own properties, and they lit off some M-80 Fireworks also. Within 1 Second of each other 4 of my 8 Cameras blew out from the shock/concussion of the Firecrackerss. 2 Days later a 5'th Camera stopped working. I called them and informed them that when the 3 cameras stopped working on playback, the other cameras recorded flashing lights from the Firecrackers for several minutes afterwards.
You can look into some of the broken cameras, right into the black hole in the center of the cameras, and there is pieces of camera broken off on the inside of the lens. Even though I was past the Warranty deadline, they refused to offer me new cameras to replace the broken ones.
I have a 6 foot wall all the way around my back yard and on the sides, and the wall averages 12 feet from the sides of my home, and 60 feet from the house in the back of the house. The cameras were still shell shocked and broken, even when my neighbors were on THEIR OWN PROPERTIES, on both sides of me. 5 of 8 Cameras broke from shell shock, from firecrackers that my neighbors lit off on their own properties. LOREX REFUSED TO HELP ME OUT, when their cameras are SO CHEAP that they BREAK that easily, from over 12 feet away with a 6 foot 4 inch wall between us.
I am supposed TO PAY FOR NEW CAMERAS because their cameras are SO FRAGILE THAT THEY BREAK SO EASILY.
Then they leave you so that your property is NOT PROTECTED. I'm retired and permanently disabled by disease so I don't have any money at all.

Great product, Very easy to setup straight out the box. I'm not too savy installing or setting up electronics but this system had simple pictured instructions on how to completely setup and install the cameras and configure the dvr system. The quality of this model is good and sharp in night vision mode. I would recommend this for anyone whose looking for a descent and affordable surveillance for their business or home.

I was somewhat fortunate enough to get this on black Friday. practically given away. It works, its wonky at times, but it gets the job done. Security DVRs have come a long way. but this one has a long ways to go. For example the firmware update is impossible, doesn't just connect to a server automatically update like an xbox or ps4, which already tells me this thing is ancient technology. it doesn't recognize certain types of USBs i've tried several different types with different formatting. I gave up on that. When trying to hit the website from iE or chrome version in the year 2016, you can forget about it. the mouse will drive you nuts as the pointer is wild, jumpy and hard to control.

RCA connections very cheaply made. DVR does not last long. Try another brand like Q-see instead. Don't waste time on this unit. Would not have given a star but had to.

Unit was easy to install and configure. Quick guides were nice because I did not have to wade through a thick manual looking for the first setup items.

Love the viewing capabilities but, the DVR software is a bit finicky. The fact that anything can throw off my viewing capabilities makes me nervous As I travel a lot..
Had problems with DVR after 5 months. But Lorex got me a new one in one week. Lorex support was very friendly and helpful.
hard drives do not last only 18 months if your lucky customer service suck trying for 2 months to get # 2 hard drive

The first one that we bought, worked right away and for less that a year. We ordered a new black box and we have returned it twice. They do not work.
Tech line is a 40 minute wait and you get someone that you can hardly understand.
We will not buy another Lorex product.

Camera set up was easy.
Connected to network easily
DDNS remote connectivity setup was fairly complex and required tech support to trouble shoot, requires knowledge of router setup and editing.
Had to wait over an hour for tech phone support.
Could not get included software to work with Chrome or Safari browser, had to use IE.
Included software blocked by virus software as Adware.

We purchased this product at BJ's It was easy to install. Running the wires was a challange. But setting up for online viewing was somewhat eazy. I would recommend this product. We were quoted $1200 for a security company to install their camera system with the exact same features. I would recommend this to a friend

Great Product, Fairly easy setup.
Easy install and great camera resolution. Best part is the easy app loaded on my smart phone. I can check all 16 views anywhere I have phone service. Love it! Good feature nice dvr easy setup.
Very helpful Tech support . I had to contact Tech support for assistance in setting up internet and smart phone access due to issue with Broadband provider.
