I bought it in a good price and is was too easy to install by myself. The 24/7 online access is good.
Purchased a system from Costco that included this NVR. Initial setup was relatively easy and all seemed to be going well.
HOWEVER, the NVR suffered from some odd early failure mode. Tech support was helpful in narrowing down the issue although they seemed to have never seen the problem that I experienced. Recommended action was to replace the NVR. Thus began a 2 month long saga of delays and mistakes on the part of the support team. Customer service is IMPOSSIBLE to reach by email or phone. And when you do finally get through to them, they have very limited information and no power to do anything to assist. Being tech savvy my self did not help in the least.
If everything works out of the box, then perhaps this is a good choice for a DIY system. If you have to deal with them from a support standpoint, beware!!
Unfortunately I cannot recommend this product or Lorex in general. Am returning everything to Costco today....
Our apologies for the difficulty you experienced. We have been experiencing longer than usual wait times and we're working to improve this.
I just sat on the phone for 3 hours to find out that our NVR was bad, a few months prior we had the same issue with the NVR but the tech was able to get it going. Also a few months ago we had to replace a camera! Which was only 2 days out of warranty! the equipment didn't even last a year! AND NO WARRANTY! NEVER AGAIN
I am very upset with the quality of your products and warn anyone wanting to purchase these products
Our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. We were happy to get this resolved for you. Thank you.

Purchased this product via Costco - came promptly and was really well packed.
It was a bit daunting with all the pieces - but after 10 minutes of review - it all made sense and was really quite simple. DVR Box, Cables to Camera, Camera & mount - yea not certain what I first thought.
Installed cameras around home - ran simple Cat5-ish cables through attic - plugged it all together and wow - great system.
It was fun aligning the cameras using the iPhone application and FLIR Cloud - just connect the camera and wait a moment for it to sync up - then just adjust it and tighten it down.
While it was all fairly simple there are a few points that need to be noted that made things a bit interesting. 1) The cables already have connectors on both ends - great in theory - but if you want to use the locking/water tight assembly - you need to cut the connector off and re-do it. Given my connections were not exposed - i chose to just use friction tape to hold it and prevent dust/bugs. 2) The iPhone application seems to have challenges connecting to all cameras - it sometimes requires closing the application and reopening it with only 1 camera being requested. Note this is when using it via the relay - when on my LAN - it does not seem as finicky. 3) the PC software is really nice - connects without issues and syncs well. I find a little loss of resolution/update - but nothing too mad 4) the Best viewing and playing around is with the direct interface (mouse and display).
I still have a lot to learn about the dual stream setups, recording rate, and the various playback options - but this is just a learning curve if you want to play. Out of the box - everything works fine.
Note I really like the IP-PoE design compared to the old BNC/Analog system with separate power lines/adapters. This is super clean and easy. Highly encourage anyone to use the IP style.
I still n
Purchased this at Costco. When I received my order, I had the wrong NVR in the box. Contacted Lorex and they were quick to send me the correct one. Now I have everything installed, and the system works great. I love how I can check my cameras from anywhere using the app.

This 4 camera HD NVR gives you excellent 1080p resolution with lengthy recording time. Easy to use interface with lots of configuration options. Provides optional push notifications when motion zones are breached. Great when travelling away from home. Compatible with Lorex top of the line cameras as well.

Purchased this at Cotsco with a sweet savings of $300, installation and set up was fast, was really impressed with the system.
Except when the cameras goes offline every other week or so ,and you have to reboot the NVR.- Really annoying..
Other than that excellent quality and performance.
Thank you for your feedback, our technical support team would be happy to help you out with your cameras. Please give us a call at 1-877-755-6739.
Purchased from Costco. Works as expected.
- Picture quality is awesome.
- Flir Cloud works well when it works
- The remote viewing is flaky, I have to reboot the NVR every 3-4 weeks because I can't connect to the system via Flir Cloud. Common problem found apparently
- Support is not great... I can tell they just run through a script without really understanding the problem. I guess that's fine for 1st line support... but if the last option in the script is to default the box, then unacceptable.
- Don't change any of the data rate options of the camera, leave as default. Otherwise you'll start losing connectivity to your cameras.
I would recommend this product if they fixed the need to constantly reboot the NVR.
Thank you for your feedback. Our technical support team was happy to assist you further with this and come to a resolution. If you require further assistance, please call us at 1-877-755-6739.

I bought this for our new house that we are building. Unfortunately the house is behind schedule as most new construction is. So I hooked in up in the house I am renting to try it out. It's easy to set up (Plug and play). Just put the Cat5 ethernet cables into the cameras and recording box. Plug in into a TV monitor with HDMI, and the video feeds start to appear within about 30 seconds or less. Software is easy to use too. Pretty much goof proof. Picture quality is good in daylight, and good at night, probably best with some small light source for longer distance viewing.

Works as described. What was a bit of a nice surprise was my non Lorex ONVIF cameras work just fine with this NVR. Accessing it on my phone is simple.
Only issue I had was plugging my Lorex camera into the POE ports in back of the NVR did not work. Had to use the Lorex POE switch and it worked.
My wish though would be to use 1 of the USB ports to plug in an additional hard drive to use as video storage. Perhaps I can but so far have not figured it out.
I have this system set up at our cabin in WI, so I can keep an eye on things remotely. So far everything has been working well. Took a bit of work to get it going the way I wanted it. I found if there are issues it helps to simply restart the NVR or reinstall the flir cloud app. Solved most problems I encountered.

Purchased this product online; got an excellent deal. We love our lorex baby monitor. So we knew to go with lorex for protecting our home. Setup was pretty easy if your handy and have the right equipment for mounting the camera's with the system. Viewing the system on our phones is dead simple. And managing the unit from out desktop is straight forward. Very happy with the system.

Purched the LNR182C4 1080p system from BJ's on sale saved 200.00 dollars. Very happy with my choice. Set up took approx. 6 hrs most of time was spent running Cat5 in the attic down the walls. 3 days later still up and running and the system is working great. Followed the advice of another reviewer set the systems up and made sure everything works. Then with one camera on I held it up to were I wanted to install it and viewed it on the monitor to see if the spot was good. POE cable is genius one plug and the cameras are on. Push (motion) notification working need to adjust the sensitivity. Installed the Flir's cloud app on my Android phone connected easily also installed on my wife's IPhone took a little longer but is working great. Take some advice go to Lorex's web site and download the Manuel I,m not a computer savvy person took some to read but a much better understanding of the system and how to work it. Would I recomend the system absolutely !!!!!!!.
I purchased this product at BJ but when installed it does not stop beeps. I even disabled the motion and it stills beeps. I need some advise to stop the beeping. all the camera are working properly.
Unimpressed with software; installation instructions; on-line support; qic-guides instructions do not match product; software will not install on win 7 ultimate;

I purchased the NVR100 and (4) 1080p HD camera's from BJ's Wholesale Club. This package was very reasonably priced, and the camera's provide excellent resolution. It's amazing that you can clearly see and record up to 100 feet away in complete darkness without any type of lighting. The quality and clarity provided by this package is ..great.. The 4TB hard drive can record 24 hours a day up to approximately two weeks. I'd recommend this package to anyone looking for an outdoor security system.
