My wife has wanted security cameras for some time now. Being new to this, we bought the LNR4163 and a couple of PTZ's to get started, and were surprised that the setup was extremely easy. The only problem that I've seen so far is the fan noise, hence the 4 star rating, could have been 5. I would recommend this to others.

I bough the 16 channel security NVR with PoE switch. Easy to setup, very clear image, full HD.
My company has tried to implement a security camera system at minimal cost several times. Each time we run in to many issues with reliability, cost and quality. I did some research and found this Lorex LNR 4163 at a very reasonable cost. We are currently running the system with 7 cameras and are very pleased with the result. The system is very reliable, the cameras are easy to install, the image is crisp in clear even in low lighting and best of all we are able to build this system for a fraction of the cost versus a compatible product from a security company. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a high quality and affordable turn key solution.

This Lorex camera system is by far the best camera system for the money. We installed 10 cameras in full high definition and the video replay is even better. Technical support was able to help me troubleshoot an issue with one of the dome cameras and we were up and running in no time.
The remote viewing software is excellent!
Bought the 12 Camera system built around the LNR 4163. Everything was a breeze to assemble and worked right out of the box with minimal manual configuration. POE switch was erroneously left out of the original shipment but Lorex sales expedited a replacement by next day UPS. I'd definitely recommend this product.

This camera system worked great. Very easy to set up and runs like a champ. Comes with everything you need to wire and install. The only option that I wish was included was a video DVd that would help explain how to completely operate the monitoring and recording software to ease the setup process.

We currently own a LNR360
And one of our cameras recently caught a mugging in broad daylight right in front of our house and everything was caught in crystal clear HD. Its unfortunate that the license plate was out of the recommended range of the camera. But, the great thing is they have one suspect in custody and i'm sure after all the media coverage, they will both be caught and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
Thank you Lorex!

Upgraded and what a difference. HD is the way to go. Easy to install and use.
LNR300 is very easy to set up. also the phone app is good and easy to set up. I love the system i am very happy with it.

I bought The LNR360 very easy to installed .Everything work out so good no need for app or software .I have 10 cameras could record all like I expected
Location: carmichael ca
the lnr 360 installed easy. everything worked out of box. shipping took longer than expected and the hold time to speak with a rep was way longer then needed to be. that said the easy install and supplied cabled worked well. you can log into the nvr from a pc or mac with just the ip address. no need for apps or software. the ipad app works great from home wifi to lte same for the iphone app. I am an advanced user so my only complaints are:
I wish all 16 cameras could record not just 8. that was disclosed on the site so I expected.
I wish there was an option to delete footage instead of locking out from overwrite.
only way to delete is to back up what you want and format the drive.
I wish you could password protect or otherwise secure the stratus app. I believe in overkill for security and wish there was more than just an unique device id and system password standing between me and prying eyes.
the cameras are very clear especially after changing the main stream and sub stream settings. they are set very low by default to save hdd space and allow for those with limited bandwidth to use the live stream app.
I have 6 cameras set at close to highest settings recording 24/7 and I can store more than 7 days of footage.
the night vision is also superb. I can easily make out the identity of someone walking around at 75ft.
overall I give 4 stars if the hold time was shorter and the delete file option was available I would give a 5 star rating. I do plan on purchasing the same system soon for my parents so I would recommend the unit.
The 16 channel DVR was easy to set up and provides enough channels to effectively cover the office space in which it was installed. Having used other DVR/NVRs in the past, the software on the LNR363W is very intuitive and straightforward.
The remote viewing software was easy to set up.
My only qualm is that renaming the actual cameras with the DVR (not the on-screen labels) could be easier. Overall, this is an exceptional NVR.
I bough the 16 channel security NVR with PoE switch. Easy to setup, very clear image, full HD.
Note:The hard drive was not fully secured, It was shipped with two loose bolts that I had to tie up and install the other two.
The Dome HD IP camera for netHD NVR LND2152B for this NVR is to be installed on ceiling only if you plan to install it on a wall consider the
