We have discovered an issue with LH140 ECO3 Series DVRs where the Lorex DDNS service will not connect to the DVR if the DDNS address (the URL Request entered during registration) begins with a number.

For example, the address would not work, but would work.

We are working on a fix for this issue. In the meantime, the solution is to update your URL Request to one that does not start with a number.

To change your URL Request:

  1. Click My Lorex at the top of this page and sign in with your Lorex account.
  2. Click DDNS.

  3. Click Edit next to your device.
  4. Update the URL Request to something that does not start with a number.

  5. Click Save.
  6. On the DVR, right-click and click .
  7. Click Network>DDNS.
  8. Under Domain Name, enter the new URL Request you entered in Step 4.

  9. Click Apply to save your changes.

NOTE: It may take up to 15 minutes for the DDNS server to resolve your new DDNS address.
