The number of features that this wireless camera has is fantastic relative to the price paid for the product. I had a little bit of difficulty in setting the system up, however, after the third attempt, everything is working great.
Bought the LNC-216 because its is very easy to set-up and maintain. Video quality is sufficient for my requirements and the wireless feature allow me to use it in almost any location within reach of my wi-fi network without need to rewire. The built-in audio (mic/speaker) allow me to listen or talk when I am away. Over-all this is a very helpful product for people with minimal technical skills to install.

This is for the LNC216 and LNC204
Used them inside to see both inside and outside.
Best setting for both was setting for outside view. They work great to see indoor but maybe some of you have tried to use them against the window to view outside. There will be feedback reflection fromt he window. How I solved it was to block the reflection from window with a 1/2 sleeve or sleeve as in a cold air intake from a car (3 inch id worked good). The 1/2 sleeve or 1/2 collar placed in front helps keep the reflection from the window. This is 2 1/2 inches tall so the lense can see ok.It also lets enough light into the infra red at the same time it blocks window reflection.I tried a white color sleeve and it made things a lot worse!!!!Then I tried black and that worked great!!!!Also a curtain drawn behind keeps the background light away which also reflects into the window so try to block the background light also. Also needed a good outside houselight. The best I have tried were the old incadesent 1690 lumen bulbs, too bad those are no longer going to be made,so I had to find the next best bulb for the outside house light.I made sure it was able to be rated for 100 watt bulb as some cheaper outside light fixtures were only good for 75 watt. The newer halogen bulbs if using an A19 style bulb I liked the 1490 lumens which was 100 watt (75 useage which ran cooler compared to the older 1690 incadesent. This was to setup the outside light as without a good outside light the camera indoor won't work as good to look outside at night. Also the camera works best when viewing outside from an inside window was when I had the lens closer to the window which you get less reflection back.I also used a square base to mount the camera and some round stock.I picked up some 1 inch round stock to screw to the base. Then slipped the 1 inch stock into a barbell end (barbell collar which had the 1 inch hold in it)which id threaed to use a set screw to hold the round stock. This allows to put camera at different heights. The next thing I used was some window film to darken the window. Then I put a piece of cardboard just temporary to mark pen lines to see where the camera lense were looking, switch your camera from day to night which then you will know where to cut the window film for your viewing square hole for the camera to see outside from the inside. This hides the camera nice from,I also liked the black cameras because they blended best wit the dark window film.I used the static cling type which worked good.Hope this helps I spent a lot of time trying to get the indoor camera to view outside from inside the house and the end result was great!I now use my LNC204 cameras with the LNC216 cameras and software as they worked together in the system with the new disc so you can have up to 16 cameras total. The LNC216 software disc worked great to overwrite the old software without even uninstalling it!This isn't a recommendation on how to set up cameras it's just what I tried to get them to work best for me,there may be better ways but so far this seemed the best for me.Thanks Lorex for some nice cameras I was happy with them.

Cameras were great upon initial install. With the exception of me having to climb a ladder to install, it only took about 45 minutes per camera, and that included the WPS setup to tie into my wireless router.
Color is super, and they do just what I wanted. To keep an eye on my employees.
The ONLY thing I have a comment about, is that they do not support Windows phone with their viewing software, so I cannot log in to view cameras on my Nokia Lumia Windows Phone. And that is a problem !
Just bought an LNC216 camera online. Took quite a while to be delivered but was easy to connect to my cellphone and tablet ,both android, as well as a Dell laptop,Windows 7. Haven't tried to connect to my Apple Mac as yet. The picture should be better i think but am guessing that is due to my internet service which I may upgrade later on.
I plan to buy at least one more.
We bought this camera after having been recommend by my brother. This was the best decision I have ever made. Not only can you see a clear picture both during the day and night, but you can also hear what's going on as well as talk through the camera. I was so pleased on how easy it was to setup. To mounting it on the wall, downloading the app on the iPad and iPhone and connecting it to Internet.
Couldn't be more pleased, great purchase!!

I recently purchased the MCNC204, but had to return them for the MCNC216, both cameras are excellent, they give you clarity in pictures, sound, taking a photo or recording. If you need more than four camera get the MCNC216 you will be able to view all your camera at the same time. If you only need four camera get the MCNC204's; either way you will not go wrong, it is a great camera for a great price. I have a total of 7 cameras and I am totally satisfied.
The quick setup guide was simple to follow and made the process quick and easy. I love my cameras, excellent quality and price. Outstanding job Lorex!!
I replaced my D-Link camera with the 216 WOW what a difference. Way to go Lorex!

The camera itself works fine, but it's not accessible via a standard web browser, only with the L-View software. No L-View, no live video, which makes it tough to view while traveling or while using someone else's computer. It also makes this camera incompatible with Blue Iris, the popular security software. I'm pretty disappointed.
Took a little while to put on PC,IPHONEand LAP TOP. Other than that I think they are well worth the price. Thinking about getting a few more Cannot be to safe these days..
I watched some online videos from the Costco & Lorex web pages before installing the LNC 216's. It was easy to initially set up using my android and wifi network. I later used the disc to add the view and playback programs to my laptop, and after this it kept giving me the same command that I had to uninstall the current program to install the updated one so I wasted a lot of time with all of that, but I was rather distracted while doing this, so maybe it was me. Meets my needs so far. I purchased to keep an eye on my older dog and my young pup, and to be able to talk to them if they create mischief while i'm gone, and to keep an eye on the front of my house, and to see who's at my front door. I turned off the LED lights and with this setting change, don't have much of a problem with reflection in the glass even with having the camera close to the glass on my window sill, with better than expected night time vision for this (set for daytime). Can record to a SD card in the camera, your smartphone, your pc or tablet if you have the software loaded on it (I don't have a tablet) but haven't done extended recordings as yet, or figured out if can record to a cloud, and would like to, due to if someone breaks in, they are likely to take the camera and pc, and I don't have the recording capacity on my android--suggestions on recording to a cloud, dropbox, etc. that have worked?
i recently purchased four of the LNC104, but returned them for four of the LNC216, The LNC216 offered more features than the LNC104. At first one of the cameras would not allow me to view through Ping with my iphone nor computer; this occurred because I set the 216s up the same as the 104s. After resetting the camera and using the wifi setting icon on my iphone to set the camera's wifi up, it came up perfect and I 've had no problems with viewing. I have clear concise images, and I am able to check anytime of the day as long as wifi is available. Looking forward to adding a few more cameras.
Good camera, good video quality, good night mode recording, easy to install and many configuration settings. What I do not like is the esthetics and that it is not possible with L-view to look at the videos recorded in the NAS drive with a MAC OS computer.
