Best you can do for the price!
I have looked at a few surveillance systems to monitor our twins. You can't do better than this system unless you want to spend a whole lot more. Number one thing to consider, do you need a perfect picture? If you do, go with a corded unit or digital. One is hard to set up and one is costly. Number 2 thing to remember, WIFI runs on 2.4GHz. If you get a camera with a 2.4GHz you will HATE it if you have WIFI yourself, or around you! Trust me on this one, I tried one. If it is 2.4GHz DIGITAL it will work, but only digital. I noticed most wireless camera systems are 2.4GHz (not digital), so they are all junk for the common user (there are 7 WIFI routers in my range). We have had this unit in use for 1.5 years and never had an issue outside of some intermittent static. This Lorex unit runs off 900MHz. Plugs into video and one audio RCA jack. The night vision is ok in total darkness and great with a little light. I feel that if the other negative reviewers purchased the cameras in competition with this unit (as I did) they would know this is a great value and there are always flaws with wireless. When using both cameras it shows each pic for about 2 seconds. I purchased this LW1002W under $100.
Perfect fit for twin baby monitor,
When we found out we were having twins, we had a hard time finding a solution for a video baby monitor, times 2 (can you say, expensive?!)! We decided instead to find an affordable security set that came with two cameras. We chose the Lorex LIVE wireless cams and they have been PERFECT! We love the easy setup and simplicity of moving the receiver from room to room when needed. The only small disappointment is the sound, a little crackly/staticy, but we have a traditional baby monitor as well (old school walkie-talkie style) and just turn the volume down on the TV and use the other monitor for sound. We turn to the "twin channel" as I like to call it every night before bed, so we don't have to disturb them by going into their room. It has been so helpful for peace of mind and a quick check when they are napping, and the price is AWESOME for how much we've used it. The video quality is also great, MUCH better than most actual "baby" video monitors on the market. The night vision is super crisp as well -- which is great for watching them sleep at night. Overall I would definitely recommend this product, and as always, Amazon shipped fast and cheap and delivered another great product!
Pros: Compact; Discreet; Good value; Good picture; Accurate; Inexpensive; Small; Easy To Setup
Cons: Antenna is fixed; Large receiver
Camera works great and was plug and play. Have not tested the distance for reception but works well 2 rooms away. It’s a great value.

Save yourself the trouble
Apparently camera is supposed to be weatherproof. After having first rain in Los Angeles this season; water got inside the unit and it just turned pitch black. I did receive a new unit from a company; and had to send an old one at my own expense otherwise they would charge my credit card for the new unit!!! Customer Service is just unacceptable with their limited stuff and very limited operational hours. Please save yourself time and hassle especially when you live in the West Coast as their customer service closes at 2pm Pacific Time, Monday through Friday only.
Lorex Wireless Monitoring Solution,
Set up for this was very quick and easy, which I was very thankful for. I was worried I'd get in a jam or the wireless wouldn't work, but I had no problems.
This is a great tool to keep an eye on an area without having to physically be there. The picture is pretty clear and while it's not like watching something in person or on TV, I haven't had any problem recognizing and understanding what I'm viewing.
I haven't had any problems with it so far, and I've had it for a couple months. I like it and appreciate that I can add more cameras to it in the future. I never thought of getting something like this before as I didn't think I'd be able to put it all together on my own and thought the cost would be too high. But, now that I've had a chance to use this and I see how easy it is to set up, I can see the value in expanding on it and getting more cameras.
nice and fair camera
Pros: Easy to set up, good price, quality of picture seems fair when you’re at a distance
Cons: good quality is hard to keep if you go far or down floor levels
This system arrived 3 days after my order. It arrived faster than I expected. It’s pretty good for 90 dollars. But when using it from a different floor in the house other than the one you’re on, you might have to move the receiver around a bit. You should also try to keep it away from radios, telephones, microwaves, and more. Beside the fact the quality changes when your far away, the camera is fair for the price and the quality is as well.

Wireless Security Camera,
I have 2 of these cameras with receivers. Both work as well as can be expected for wireless with good night vision and will send a signal 4-500 feet as advertised if there are no serious obstructions. Don't expect much detail such as reading license plates but you can usually tell make and models of vehicles. Installs easily but get a wired model if you want detail but harder to install.

Excellent for what it is
Works Fine And Easy To Setup,
I spent less than a half hour setting this camera up and am very pleased with its performance. At this price point I feel the camera is an excellent value. I was a little concerned about it operating in the 2.4 Ghz band but did not experience any problems with my other devices. For the past several weeks it has provided excellent outdoor surveillance and thus I highly recommend it.
