2 Getting Started

Connect to your compatible security recorder using the Lorex Home app for remote access to live video streams, recorded video, and system settings.

PREREQUISITES:

Ensure you have created a Lorex Home account and connected at least one Lorex device using the Lorex Home app for iOS or Android.
Ensure you have completed the setup of your Apple TV according to the supplied documentation (Generation 4 or newer required).

To set up Lorex Home for Apple TV:

From the home screen of your Apple TV, open the App Store.

Search for and download the “Lorex Home” app.

Launch the Lorex Home app. Enter your email and password to sign into your Lorex Home account.

You will be redirected to the home screen of the Lorex Home app. All of your connected Lorex devices will be shown.

2.1 Home Screen Overview

Devices / Channels: Use the touchpad on your Apple TV remote to select a device / channel to view live or recorded video from:

Play all: Select to start live view for all connected channels and devices.

Log out: Log out from the current Lorex Home account.

	CAUTION
The login credentials for your Lorex Home account are different than your device login credentials. Do not enter the username and password for a specific security device.
